Uranus:
Uranus was discovered in 1781 by Sir William Herschel. He at first wanted to name the planet Sidus Georgium which is latin for George’s star after the king of England. Another astronomer Johann Bode advised Herschel against it and suggested instead that he use a name from Greco-Roman mythology like all other planets. So Uranus was given its name which is the father of Saturn.
Uranus is one of the Jovian planets and like the others it has a short rotation period. Uranus’s day is 17.2 hours. Its revolution around the sun however is slightly more than 84 years. It is the seventh planet from the sun at a distance of 1.78 billion miles.
Uranus is about 4 times the diameter of earth at 46,700km. Its mass is 15 times that of earth at 8.68*10 kg. The axial tilt of this planet is one of the most unusual things about it. It is tilted 98 degrees which classifies it as being in retrograde rotation. Uranus is also unique because it has the most inclined magnetic field. The surface magnetic field is 74 percent that of the earth. The surface gravity on Uranus is 8.87 m/s².
The atmosphere of Uranus is thick with a lot of hydrogen, helium, and methane. It has a very low density, the mean density is 1271 kg/m³. Uranus lacks any really significant internal heat source and it mean surface temperature is 58° K.
To date Uranus has been found to have 21 satellites four of which have yet to be named and 11 rings.

A new moon was discovered for Uranus that had previously been overlooked for 13 years. As of 1999 this discovery brought the total of Uranus’s satellites to 18.
Neptune:
Neptune was discovered through a discrepancy in Uranus’s orbit. Uranus’s orbit was not moving how astronomers predicted it would. They could not find an elliptical orbit that fit Uranus’s trajectory. They therefore assumed that there had to be another planet that’s gravitational pull was effecting Uranus. Johann Galle was the first to find Neptune in 1846, even though many before him had mathematically predicted where this new planet would be. The planet was named Neptune and two astronomers who had predicted mathematically where it would be are credited with finding it not Galle.
Other sources say he was born from chaos alone and has no partenge, but according Hesiod’s Theogony he was conceived by Gaea, which is the most popular theory and the most reliable. Uranus fathered the first immortal children of Gaea, which were the three hundred handed giants and the three cyclopes. Enraged by his creations, Uranus bound them and banished them to Tartarus. While Uranus was proud of his actions, Gaea longed for her children and she hated Uranus for what he had done. “However, she buried her feelings deep in her heart and quietly waited for the time when she could take revenge”(Hesiod’s Theogony). Then Gaea’s time for had finally came because the next immortal children born to her and Uranus were the thirteen titans. Out of the six boy Gaea asked all of them to take the stone sickle and take revenge against their father, whom imprisoned their brothers. Saturn is the sixth planet in the galaxy but is not in fact the only planet with rings. Saturn is also the second largest planet after jupiter. It is also known as a gas giant due to the fact that it is predominately made up of hydrogen and helium which are numbers 1 and 2 on the periodic table. It is also the only planet in the solar system that is less dense than water. Saturn is so big that it and Jupiter make up 92% of the planetary mass in our solar system according to Jonathan J.Nettelmann who wrote Space Science Reviews on May 10 2010 so it is pretty recent.

In 1930, Clyde Tombaugh discovered Pluto making it the ninth planet in the solar system. However, in 2006 the International Astronomical Union decided to change the definition of a planet because there were other planets that resembled Pluto. This decision was made at a meeting in the Czech Republic. A planet now must be round, orbit the sun, and as they travel, its gravity clears the solar system paths of waste floating around. Since Pluto is not able to clear the solar system of waste because of its small size, it would not be considered a planet. Because of the change in definition, experts would still argue on whether Pluto should still be considered a planet. The magnetic fields are usually in sync with a planets rotation, which means that Uranus’s magnetic fields are also tipped over.

Titan’s atmosphere has been calculated to be 4.5 times more dense than of Earth’s atmosphere, which can been clearly noted by the layers of haze seen. The atmosphere in Titan is approximately 1.5km and is mainly composed of nitrogen. Titan has a very similar vertical atmospheric structure to earth, Titan has a troposphere temperature of ~94-~70K, a tropopause temperature of 70.4K and a stratosphere temperature of ~70-175K.
