In To Kill A Mockingbird, Harper Lee shows that some people only have one place to go. Harper Lee shows this through characters, setting, and plot. She shows many times throughout the book how some people don't have anywhere to go. Everyone is not the same and so they have different backgrounds and they can’t change it. Some people have nowhere to go or nowhere they feel safe.

In the novel to Kill A Mockingbird you can see that some people have nowhere to go or nowhere they feel safe through charters. Dill is one charter this is shown through.
