During the experiment all the safety precautions were considered. All
the results are spread over a wide range so a conclusion can be easily
drawn. There weren't any changes made to the experiment.

Section 3: Analyzing evidence

Bottle rockets are great models to examine Newton’s three laws of motion. The bottle rocket will remain on the ground until an unbalanced force, water, thrusts the rocket upward. This is defined by Newton’s first law of motion: an object at rest stays at rest or an object in motion, stays in motion (in the same direction/at the same speed) unless acted upon by an unbalanced force. It is also known as the law of inertia.
In his short story “The Use of Force,” Williams Carlos Williams puts a bad taste in your mouth about how the doctor acts towards the little girl known as Mathilda. He actively grasps her jaw, holds her down, and ends up making her mouth bleed. When people read this story for the first time, they could see the doctor as a cruel person who does not care for the well-being of children, or even that he does not like children and wants to hurt them. However, I believe that the doctor is justified in his actions of force and should be commended for his successful diagnosis.
Lift is a commonly used term to describe "something" that results in objects moving upwards against the force caused by gravity. This "something" is actually a force in itself. Lift is one of the four main forces that act upon all objects that move through the air. These four forces are:
In the experiment these materials were used in the following ways. A piece of Veneer wood was used as the surface to pull the object over. Placed on top of this was a rectangular wood block weighing 0.148-kg (1.45 N/ 9.80 m/s/s). A string was attached to the wood block and then a loop was made at the end of the string so a Newton scale could be attached to determine the force. The block was placed on the Veneer and drug for about 0.6 m at a constant speed to determine the force needed to pull the block at a constant speed. Violence against women is a gender based violence because it is targeted specifically to women just for the fact that they are a woman, this can be due to many reasons like the attacker feeling empowered because they think of women as being the weak gender. The United Nations advocates against violence towards women in their Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women. They annotate that violence against women is a “manifestation of historically unequal power relations between men and women” It is something that happens more often that many people realize. Many times this type of violence happens behind close doors and goes to the extremes that many of the victims would not speak
The historical results of this experiment by determination of the charge to mass ratio of an electron allowed physicist to work out the miniscule mass of an electron through the use of an external magnetic field. Magnetic fields apply a magnetic force on charged particles perpendicular to their direction of motion and to the magnetic field itself. This allows for the magnetic force to act as a centripetal force which then, through analysis, allows for the determination of certain charged particles through the analysis of their curve radius. In lab 15, Measurement of Charge to Mass Ratio for Electrons, the objective was to measure the charge to mass ratio (e/m) of an electron through the use of a mercury vapor chamber. This was done through the graphical analysis by the linearized equation (4). The goal was to construct a linear graph in which the slope and slope error was calculated using the Linest function, the slope than allows for the derivation of the charge to mass ratio of an electron. Error propagation (error formulas) was also used in this experiment to account for sources of error that could have occurred.

The energy transformations and transfers that occur during a trial of the rocket balloon are: Kinetic and Potential energy. Potential energy is the stored energy given to the balloon by the person blowing up the balloon with their breath. This is used at the start of every trial when blowing up the balloon. The potential energy is then transformed into Kinetic energy evident during the motion of travel. In the balloon was air energy, this is air by the balloon blower and is stored inside the balloon, which contains atoms and molecules.
Cars are large objects of great mass which can reach very fast velocities, this can be a dangerous combination if the physics aren’t correct. Seeing as there is over 1.2 billion cars world wide, physicians have put much detail into aspects of cars to make them as safe as possible. In the paragraphs below I will be be briefly discussing different aspects of the everyday automobile and its safety.
• The Use of Force is about a girl who may have Diphtheria, but refuses to open her mouth to let the doctor look at her throat. After much struggle, emotional and physical, the doctor forces her to open her mouth and it turns out she does indeed have the disease.
Energy is a property of matter which can be transferred to other matters or transformed into different forms, although it cannot be created or destroyed. A common definition of energy is that it is the ability to do work. Work is the transfer of energy. Work is done on an object when energy is transferred to that object. If one object transfers energy to another object then the first object does work on the second object. Work is when a force is applied over a distance. To calculate work, find the dot product of an object’s displacement and the force applied. In SI units, energy is measured in joules (“Work, Energy and Power”, 2015).
Does the momentum of an isolated system remain constant even after a collision and does the addition of mass on an object affect the momentum of an object?
Our hypothesis for this lab was that the limestone will add mass because it is a sedimentary rock, and weathering and erosion break down a rock. Our data refute our hypothesis because we said it will gain mass when the limestone lost mass. The limestones Initial mass was 3.67, and after we put it in the oven the mass went down too 2.81. The mass went down by 0.86. Also, the graph above shows our data. The red line of the graph was the change in mass after we put it in the oven, and the blue line is the Initial mass. The red line doesn't move that much. After we put the rocks in the oven only one changed in mass. The Limestone changed 0.86 in mass, Quartzite changed 0.00 in mass, and Obsidian changed 0.00 in mass. By that data the oven did not really change the difference in mass. The blue line is our initial mass. Limestone was 3.87, Quartzite was 67.51, and Obsidian was 10.63. In the graph it shows the blue line going up. Our initial mass goes up, but our final mass stayed the same besides the limestone changed by 0.86. In the graph there were two trends. One goes up, and the other one basically stayed the same. The initial mass had a bigger impact because we used 3 rocks, and they were different masses. For the final mass the trend wasn’t that good because two of the final masses stay the same at zero, and the one that changed in mass was only a 0.86
There is also the potential of human error within this experiment for example finding the meniscus is important to get an accurate amount using the graduated pipettes and burettes. There is a possibility that at one point in the experiment a chemical was measured inaccurately affecting the results. To resolve this, the experiment should have been repeated three times.
