Phoebe Prince was bullied by a clique of four teenagers. Sean Mulveyhill, Kayla Narey, Sharon Velasquez, and Flannery Mullins were in the clique that bullied Phoebe. Phoebe received a lot of attention from older boys, which caused the mean girls to call her nasty names. After a brief relationship with Sean Mulveyhill a high school football star, the mean girls got jealous and started to torment her. Sean then joined in and took part in the bullying as well. The bullying took place at South Hadley High School. Phoebe was often tormented in the library and the halls because very few teachers were around. Her books were routinely knocked out of her hands, they threw cans and food at her, they even wrote inappropriate comments on Phoebe's memorial facebook page. Finally, she decided she couldn't take it anymore and on January 14, 2010, she took her life by hanging herself. Phoebe Prince was one of many teens facing the hardships of this harassment.
