For this weeks discussion we are to discuss ethics and pharmacy laws and why its necessary to uphold these in the pharmacy field.Pharmacy laws and ethic are very important. If you as a pharmacist/ pharmacy technician are not following the laws of your state as well as the ethics it can be very bad for you as well as your pharmacy. However i choose to write about the ethics in the pharmacy setting.

It is important that pharmacists always uphold their professional integrity and endeavor to provide the best service to their patients. By staying up to date with their patients it proves to them that the pharmacist is concerned for the health and safety of the patient and they want them to understand the importance of patients rights and privacy.

Posted below are some ethical responisibilties of a pharmacist.
•Recognize the customers heath and well being and always make it their first priority.

This also includes staying up to date with all of their knowledge that could affect them and their business by bringing new patients into the facility and make sure to always promote positive outcomes for the public as well as their patients. By doing this it allows out coming patients to see in and consider the pharmacy. Having a positive outcome to the public it allows potential patients to see the pharmacist./ pharmacy is all about the protection and safety of the patient. The ethical guidelines should help impact the pharmacist to want to make sure they are up to date on all the laws as well as the rules and regulations it requires to provide the most effective and proper ways to care for their new
