1-Moclobemide (competitively and reversibly MOA-A inhibitor)
Dose: 300 mg daily in 1 or 2 doses initially, then after 2 weeks the dose increase as indicated to 450–600 mg daily in 1 or 2 doses. The maximum daily dose is 600 mg.
2-Mirtazapine (tetracyclic antidepressant)
Dose: initially 15 mg at night then increase the dose gradually as indicated to 30 -45 mg at night, up to a maximum 60 mg.
Moclobemide Counselling:
It is best to take Moclobemide with or after food.
To void trouble sleeping take the Moclobemide no later than early afternoon.

Doxycycline 100mg once daily in the morning
Doxycycline to be started two days before traveling and entering Cambodia, take doxycycline daily during the visit and continue for 2–4 weeks after departure.
Counselling for doxycycline (1) to reduce gastric upset Take doxycycline with milk or food .
Take with a plenty of water( large glass of water), after taking the medication keep in the upright position for one hour. Contraindicated: within 2 hours of doxycycline, do not take calcium, antacids zinc, or iron supplements
As doxycycline can increase skin sensitivity, it is recommended to use sunscreen and avoid sun exposure, also wear protective clothing
Counselling for malaria prevention:
Wear light-coloured and protective clothing, Avoid mosquito exposure from dusk to dawn and use mosquito nets treated with insecticide.
Use a personal insect repellent containing at least 20% diethyltoluamide.
Use mosquito coils, vaporising mats and insect-repellent soap.
