Peter dropped everything to be a full time writer and his son was a writer too. His first books were about puzzle books, movie novelization, and ghost adventures. Now days Peter goes into public and helps kids love reading. Doing all sorts of reading activities and storytelling. Near the end of his career Peter won many writing achievements and should be proud of how well of a writer he was. (Peter Lerangis) My other author is Harry Mazer.
He was born in New York 1925, although he does not have much information about his childhood there is plenty of information about his later life. Where he lived was called the “Coops” an apartment complex where everyone was willing helping others. In high school all Mazer did was read. He read in all his classes he wasn’t suppose to in and he told his teachers sorry he can’t stop reading. He often got in trouble because of his lack of concentration in his classes, but, he didn’t care so much. Even though Peter didn’t like any classes, but English and History he did compete in the Bronx High School of Science exam. Jobs were scarce at the time and nobody would hire Jewish people. This was bad for the Mazer family only his dad still had his job and they were gonna be on the streets if they don’t bring any kinda money in. Harry went out and used his knowledge from reading and made a great speech to the local grocery store. With that speech got him the job and they did not have to lose their apartment complex. He had many careers from being a writer to being in the air force. On his biography web page he has an honor page and he has been spotlighted all the way from the books he wrote to his service in the air force. I would list but there is too many. Besides all the rewards he has his family consist of his wife Norma and Anne. His mom and dad, unnamed, said he was a hard worker. (Washington Post Book
World) Mazer writes about young people in a moral crises trying to get out. World War II was on Harry’s mind also. When he was seventeen he enlisted in the air force, but had to wait till he was eighteen. Being in war inspired him to write books about war seeing tons of the action you would think his books were detailed and they were. Most of the books he wrote were involved with war or some kind fight between two kinds of people. In the end Mazer had many rewards for writing, war, and for speeches he gave to American soldiers. All of Mazer accomplishments were well earned. (Washington Post Book World)
Paul's dream to live like the stars is taken away when his father forbids him to work, visit, or go anywhere near the theater. It is at Carnegie Hall that Paul became struck by the glitter and the starlight of the stage. He is not star struck in the sense that he wanted to perform in any way; he is simply content to observe others' performances.

Alex Kotlowitz was a freelance journalist. In 1985 a friend came to him and asked him to write a text for a photo essay he was doing on (children living in poverty) for a Chicago magazine. That is when he met the Rivers brothers, Lafeyette, age ten, and Pharoah age seven. He spent only a few hours with them interviewing for the photo essay. Lafeyette had an impact on Kotlowitz. When asked what he wanted to be, Lafeyette responded with "If I grow up, I'd like to be a bus driver." Meaning, at ten years old, he wasn't sure if he'd make it to adulthood. In 1988 Kotlowitz suggested to the boys' mother, LaJoe, the idea of writing a book about Pharoah, Lafeyette and the other children in the neighborhood. LaJoe liked the idea. However, she then said, "But you know, there are no children here. They've seen too much to be children."
Imagine getting home from a long day at work and being able to sit down and travel to a world with cowboys and criminals. Reading is a way to escape from the real world for a while. Authors write books to entertain their readers. Many great authors have come and gone and have left many great pieces of literature in their wake. One of these authors is Charles Portis. Leroux studied law in order to please his father, but when his father died, Leroux refrained and began to pursue a career in writing. Leroux received an inheritance when his dad passed away, but he wasted it on drinking and gambling within a period of a year. After he had spent all of his money, Leroux began to write novels in 1909. By 1927, he has already produced two dozen newspaper serials, many shorter works, and seven plays (Gaston Leroux).
His life was stuck in a loop, short, wrong. Peter went to school. It was a Hebrew school in Osnabruck.
In high school Myers was very smart although his grades weren’t very good. He had a speech pediment that slowed him down in school which’d caused kids to pick on him and called him names. Upon introduction, Peter Keating seems every bit the expected protagonist should be – attractive, successful, happy (Rand 29). After a short while, readers begin to realize that the perfection is an act, and behind it lies a weak, power-hungry kid aching for attention. Keating graduates from an architectural college at the top of his class in a variety of ways, and is offered two opportunities, a scholarship to study further in Paris and a job at a popular firm nearby in New York City (Rand 29, 30). After graduating, Peter rushes home to talk to Howard Roark – an ex-fellow student renting a room – about this decision. Roark tells him to make up his own mind, as that’s what will be best for him, but Mrs. Keating butts in and wants to keep Peter
Many authors use their own life experiences or situations when writing certain literary works, such as a poem or short story. One is able to see how this statement is true with D.H. Lawrence’s literary works, “A Rocking-Horse Winner” and “Piano”. Both of Lawrence’s literary works displays a persona of a little boy, which very well represents the inner character of himself. Lawrence uses biographical aspects in both his short story and poem that portray the emotions he felt throughout his childhood. Although, both these works displays similar aspects when representing a biographical view of Lawrence’s life, they differ in the type of relationship that is shown between the boy and his mother.
Lapis lazuli also known as just lapis is a deep blue semi-precious stone that has been prized since its discovery for its exquisite intense deep blue color. Lapis lazuli was first mined six thousand years ago in the Sar-i Sang mines and in other mines in the Badakhshan province in northeast Afghanistan. Its name comes from the Latin word lapis, meaning “stone,” and the Arabic word azul, which means “blue.” At the end of the Middle period, lapis lazuli began to be exported to Europe, where it was grounded into powder form and made into ultramarine, the most expensive and finest of all blue pigments widely used during the Renaissance in frescoes and oil painting. Afghanistan was the only source of lapis stone for the ancient Mesopotamian and Egyptian civilizations and later as well as for the Greeks and Romans.
