Speech Olympics fans are missing the fastest paced sport in the world. I think NASCAR should be one of the sports in the olympics. The following will help me get my point across: competitiveness, popularity, and that it is fast-paced. NASCAR is extremely competitive. For one, you have to qualify for each race. Qualifying is where you have to get the fastest time to start in a position (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.). Whoever has the fastest time will get to start in first. Whoever gets the slowest time starts in 43rd. This makes it competitive because you have to compete and push the car so that you can get the fastest time and start in first. Or there is the “Chase.” The Chase is made up of the NASCAR leaders. It helps determine who goes to the championship. The top 3 right now are Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards, and Jimmie Johnson. “Chase’s” Bracket starts with 16 racers then 12, then 8, then 4, and finally the “NASCAR sprint cup series champion.” NASCAR is a very popular sport with over 20% of the US population watching each race.
About 75 million people have watched NASCAR. About 12.66% watch NASCAR and follow it one way or another. The other 10.49% (34 million) will know a racer or two. In a period of 10 years (1996-2006) sales have shot up over $2,199,999,400. The sales have gone from 600/year-2.2billion/year. These both show that it is a very popular sport and growing in popularity. The sport of NASCAR is extremely fast paced. The average speed of a NASCAR is 210.364 MPH.This can make it exciting for many people. Anything can happen in a split second too. One race Kyle Busch started 39/43 and finished in 3/43. That is a change of 36 places. This can also make it exciting because you will never know what’s going to happen. Some say this can’t be in the Olympics because it's way too dangerous. But what about bobsledding and boxing. Reto Capedrutt died in a bobsledding accident along with 6 others. Carlos Barreto died from boxing injuries along with 9 others. The Olympics have had over 59 deaths from establishment. In total, NASCAR has had only 19 deaths from when it was
established. This is why I think NASCAR should be in the Olympics. It’s a popular sport and it popularity is increasing. I also think NASCAR has a lot to offer the olympics. The main reasons that it should be in the Olympics are: Competitiveness, Popularity, and that it is fast paced.
I believe all sports are good vehicles or tools to market and advertise, but, none is...
Take a look at your car, it probably can only hit eighty on a good day. Then watch the top fuel and funny car dragsters of the National Hot Rod Association who get three hundred miles per hour on a bad day. You would be blown away at the diffrence in power. The pure power and the amount of noise that these cars produce will blow you away. I'm going to inform you on a lot of the amazing facts about the nitro powered dragsters of the NHRA. First, i'm going to inform you on how drag racing started and on how drag racing works, then how the dragsters work. Following that i'm going to explain how the equipment keeps the drivers and workers safe, finally I will explain how the sport is evolving,

...ndary Nurburgring, in under eight minutes. Bringing the GT-R to the movies also inspire many young enthusiasts to race themselves. MAny records have been broken and car tuners made the most out of it. The drag strip brought the GT-R justice. Having Bugatti’s slogan “the world's fastest car” was just a sign for some tuned GT-R’s. The video of a tuned R34 racing a million dollar Bugatti Veyron leaves Bugatti back at the drawing board. This marvel brought many people together to the racing community.
Jump start your car racing career early. If you are still very young, it’s a good idea to get the feel of the track by getting involved in go-kart racing. This is, of course, not the same thing as touring car racing, but it will teach you balance and how to negotiate turns. It is also a good tool to learn the basics of passing, braking and the rules of the track. Car racing simulators and indoor karting will make you sharper and give you the opportunity to polish up on your technique.
With the crack of the bat and the roar of the cround The MLB season has ended. The season finished with the Houston Astros beating the Los Angeles Dodgers in the finals of the World Series. The World Series is a event where the best team from each league play each other. The first world series was on October 1st, 1903. There are two leagues. One is the American league and the other one is the National league. In fact, the reason the World Series exists is to allow the best team from each league to play each other in the finals. The team that has won the most World Series is the New York Yankees with 27, and The cardinals are in second with 11.
Aerodynamics is essential to wining a race. A race car has to fight the other cars but shouldn't have to fight the air. So the formula one designers used knowledge of aerodynamics to decrease the vehicles fight with the friction imposed by the surrounding air or drag. Also aerodynamics is used to create a shape that will create a strong downward force. Indy cars need this because at such high speeds the tires may not grip the roadway, or at its very worst the air pushing up on the bottom of the car will flip it over.

When people have kids more often than not the kids are going to ask their parents for a dirtbike. Most parents would simply say that it’s too dangerous or that their child doesn’t know how to ride one. But in reality these replies are just a way for the parents to drop the conversation because they don’t fully understand it either. However suppose that one day you will be put into this very position if you havent already. Wouldn’t you want to make a more proper judgement instead of having to face the unknown? Well riding a dirtbike is not nearly as dangerous or difficult as it seems.
Now that you know how texting and driving is affecting our nation, let’s talk about different ways to prevent it from causing deaths.
Formula One Racing Formula One racing, or F1, is known to be the most prestigious type of auto racing in the world. Unfortunately, in the United States F1 racing is not nearly as popular as other motorsports such as Nascar.
