Introduction:
I want you to imagine, that incredible sensation as your brain sends dopamine and opiod chemicals throughout your body, giving that pleasurable, euphoric, and incredible feeling during physical intimacy aka during sex. So, what is sex, or rather what should sex be? Is it restricted to a private and emotional intimacy between two people? Should it only be permitted after marriage? Is it something that happens casually in every romantic relationship?
Should it be private or publicly exposed with in our society? Don’t businesses and advertising companies such as fragrance, alcohol industry, lingerie lines and others already use sex in order to add appeal to the product they are selling?

It is obvious is still in existence today, not only with advertising but that the sex industry has taken international dimensions and has become known and recognized as an economic driving factor in many countries. The topic’s surrounding and involving prostitution are controversial, countries around the world continue to debate the merits of decriminalizing or the legalization of prostitution.

A. The Prostitution Education Network, has stated, “No person’s human or civil rights should be violated on the basis of their trade, occupation, work, calling or profession.”
B. Attitudes of prostitution have continued to change and evolve several times to meet social standards. Prostitution has remained illegal in forty-nine of the fifty states in America due to conservative religious beliefs prostitution has against the social institution of marriage, how it exploits women and destroys society’s moral climate.
A. It is seen, throughout history, religious movements have criticized, shunned, persecuted, blamed, and demonized prostitution.

If we include the 72,630 Other sex offense arrest’s, that is an additional $145,260,000.00 of tax revenue spent.
C. That is roughly a total average cost of $157,793,600 of taxpayer revenue for prostitution and other sex offense arrests for one year!
B. Who is it that pays for these cost’s, the taxpayers, you and I pay for these arrests. Wouldn’t you like to see the taxpayer revenue be used more effectively, maybe be applied to something like education or healthcare?
C. Legalizing or decriminalizing prostitution would not only reduce current prosecution efforts with prostitution crimes, the sex workers would be considered a legitimate occupation in the United States and as an independent contractor, making them accountable for filing taxes.
A. The added tax revenue, that could be generated from legalization of prostitution, would certainly seem to benefit the government and society drastically, allowing these sex workers to contribute positively to our society rather that inhibit.
B. According to the “World Charter for Prostitutes’’ Rights,” prostitutes themselves believe that they should “pay regular taxes on the same basis as other independent contractors and employees, and should receive the same
