Per Reporter: April's mother (Heather's) boyfriend (Christopher) spanked her with a belt when Heather goes to work. It is unknown what kind of belt was used. It is unknown how often Christopher spanked her. April has no bruise or mark. April has not told Heather about the spanked because even times she tried to tell Heather. The CPS worker (unknown) was working on the case and it went to court. The report stopped there and nothing was really done about it. The reporter is concerned that Heather has covered up for Christopher discipline April. The court order stated that "Only the biological parents disciplined her with their hands." Heather has the breach of contract. The reporter has joint custody for April. The reporter did not feel safe sending April back to the home. Lisa and Roy are not sending Jeremy back to the home. Smack smack smack the sound that just grinds my gears. Everyone has that one thing that just drives them up a wall. Nothing makes me more mad than when people smack their food. Domestic violence is an issue that has affected many people regardless of age, race, or gender. The seriousness of it can vary dramatically. Domestic violence is the intentional intent to physically and/or sexually assault, batter, or has abusive tendencies against a sibling, parent, child (ren), or domestic partner. The overwhelming emotional, psychological, and physical ramifications of domestic violence can cross generations and last a lifetime.
