Introduction The right to life is the most basic and important right us humans all possess, or almost all. World wide 125,000 innocent lives are restricted from the right every single day with 91.5% of which are because of accidental pregnancy with full consent, at the end of this speech there will be approximately another 17 murders of innocent babies. Remember, this number of 125,000 is made up of real human beings, meaning 114,375 babies are killed every day because some people didn't take the proper precautions. It is never okay to murder someone, unconscious or not, but for some reason, this doesn’t apply to our unborn generation even though we have a great alternative named adoption. Leaving a remaining 40% of what a pro-choice advocate would say, a blob of cells. Now, for example, a person is in a coma, the person can't feel if he dies just like a pre 7- week baby, but is it still alright to let him die? I personally don’t think so, and I would believe that many of you would think the same. It is a common argument that abortion is ok because of the cases of rape, and the endangerment of the life of the mother. Though this is irrelevant due to the total percentage of rape and the physical life of the mother only making up 0.4% of all abortions. Another argument is that the child will not have a good life, due to modern day technology able to find tracks of down syndrome and other problems, or that the mother cannot support the child economically. What comes to my mind initially is why did that person choose to have a baby in the first place they could’ve easily prevented it, secondly it is clear that people with Down syndrome can still have great success in their life, with many of them being famous actors and actresses. Thirdly, the mother can always give the child away to adoption, children who are adopted usually have better lives anyways, due to the adopters being more wealthy and more wanting to create a better childhood for their
