Dear 5 year old Noah,
Thank your for choosing soccer out of all the things you could have done. Soccer has been a part of your life and has kept you from doing potentially bad things. Soccer was a way to get stress out because you would go down to tremont park by yourself and shoot for hours and not think about anything else. I am proud you have made it this far, you don’t have to focus on being the best player but realize that you have love and passion for the game. Sports have kept you healthy and busy and I don’t know what else you would be doing if you didn’t play them. Your passion for the game has been reflected by the way you play throughout the years. There have been many people to help and encourage you along your journey. Soccer has helped you in many ways you couldn’t imagine including keeping your grades up, relieving stress, keeping you from doing bad things, and making you new friends.

You've always dreamed of being a professional soccer player or maybe even a coach. Even making the high school soccer team is a great accomplishment because you’ve had a few setbacks. quitting. I have came a long way from where I started and it would be devastating if I were to give up now. All that hard work and dedication would have been done for nothing. I am incredibly proud of myself for not losing the passion I first had because it has got me through an enormous amount of things in life. That little decision I made as a kid has weaved me through a unique path in life and so far I am proud of where I am today. I am looking forward to what else life has to bring to me and what i'm going to end up doing.
The FIFA survey continues to prove that soccer, A.K.A. football, is the world’s #1 sport. There are about 240 million people in the world that play soccer from more than 200 countries. It is one of the most popular sports in the world that many people play now. It does take some time to learn the sport but, it shouldn’t be hard to learn it if you have the time and, put in a lot of effort.
Over the years, soccer has changed me as a person. I love thinking back at the great memories I had playing soccer. I plan to never stop playing soccer. Hopefully, I will play on the club team at Shippensburg and never give it up. This was one of my most memorable moments in my life playing soccer. Through soccer I made friends, learned how to be a team player and helped me bring my family closer together. If it wasn’t for soccer I wouldn’t be who I am today and I am very grateful for this.
As a sophomore it will be my eleventh year playing soccer. I am excited to keep learning and trying new things and to make new friends as well. Last year I was the only freshman on the team and it felt as though I was trying to play catch up. This year I want to encourage the new freshmen and help them rise to the best of their abilities while I rise to mine.
Soccer has been around for a very long time. Many people around the world play soccer. An abundance of people love soccer, but just as many people hate soccer; they prefer hockey, baseball, or football. Football is just an Americanized version of soccer. Here are three interesting things about soccer.
While I have developed my soccer skills over the years, the relationships I have built with people are treasured more than my ability to play the game. Playing soccer has granted me the opportunity to be surrounded by an extensive family of people who truly love me. I am forever indebted to the sport for bringing me into love-filled relationships with players and coaches alike.
I played soccer since I was seven, as of the last few years I played at a very high level. I have represented Ohio South two times at a regional showcase, I have been invited to participate in a camp in Manchester, England and attended the camp twice. Also last Season for the Newark High School soccer team I was named first team all league and third team all central district. Soccer was the first sport I truly loved to do, I wanted to be the best. I work hours upon hours to master whatever part of the game I wanted to improve on. Soccer has taught me to have a great work ethic, and that mentality came when I was cut from the state team the first time I tried out. It was the worst thing that has ever happened to me, I was destroyed, and I thought I was not good but I knew I could do better. The next year I worked, I got bigger, stronger, faster, my soccer I.Q. was higher;therefore, overall I was a much better player. The result of that work, was that I made the team, but not only, I made the starting line up. After that I knew I could accomplish anything I put my mind to.
Over the past few months, FIFA has been getting themselves into all kind of trouble. From racketeering, wire fraud, and to money laundering. This is against what any organization is supposed to do with their business, but they were still able to do for such a long period of time. FIFA officials were taking bribes which is so wrong when you’re looking at a company that plays a good role into setting FIFA tournaments around the world. Then you get fans who question, if these past events were matched fairly or were they just fixing matches to get a specific end result. Recently all the allegation raised against FIFA has become to reality when officials and executives were caught. This cannot be happening in an organization that plays a big role
Soccer the most popular sport in the world, since is the sport with more active players with around 270 million athletes. By having registered so many players, it’s not surprising that this sport has more fans than any other sport worldwide. Every team looks for a player that moves the ball, and that creates plays to score. This means a person that pass the ball through the entire game. To pass the ball in a proper way is one of the main skills a player needs to play soccer. Passing the ball, keeps the game going. Without being able to pass the ball accurately to your teammates, more than likely your team won’t be able to score a goal. The key for passing is to keep things simple. This means passing the ball to your nearest teammate that is not marked by an opponent.
Once again, after a successful season, Shadle Park was defeated by a Big 9 school in the first game of the regional tournament. This reoccurring event has led many to believe that the four year football program puts GSL students at a disadvantage compared to other districts. A junior high school football program would not only increase the competitiveness of the students but also have more important consequences.
This experience has taught me many valuable lessons. I learned that it is important to fight and work for what you believe in. I have learned more skills than soccer, such as teamwork and communication skills. I have learned that it's good to broaden one's horizon by meeting and becoming friends with people from other schools and communities. I'm looking forward to the soccer district and regional, and we hope we qualify for the state championship.

With more and more soccer clubs transitioning to year round seasons, high school girls are pegged with a question: Should I play high school or club soccer? It used to be that club soccer took place in the fall, while high school soccer was played in the spring. However, now that clubs are offering year round opportunities for girls, club soccer has overlapped with the high school season. Although either choice will allow a girl to play soccer, club soccer and high school soccer vary in time commitment, level of play, and social life.
Next year, I will be in seventh grade and I’ll be playing on the school soccer team as well as many other sports like Track, Tennis, and Basketball. I will try to get into a soccer summer camp that year to improve my skills. My dad used to play soccer at my age and often teaches me some tips and tricks and cheers me on when playing. The

Practicing for hours, rain or shine, to be able to snag that game winning touchdown in the back of the endzone. Although football comes with many risks and dangers, I strongly believe that kids and teens should be allowed to play football because it promotes leadership, teamwork, and requires significant amounts of exercise and cardiovascular activity, and other contact sports are just as dangerous.
