A san francisco zoo claims gorilla enclosure is unsafe. A young gorilla had to get smooshed by the door for the zoo keepers to realize it was unsafe. Zoos are “pitiful prisons” according to PETA. zoo keepers should take better care of their animals.

Zoos don't really care about their animals they just want to entertain their guests. Onlookers are entertained as a cow fights for her life trying to throw off two lions according to the article,”changing attitudes to zoos.”also In 2009 a south korean tv show filmed a small terrified bear being placed inside a tiger enclosure at everland park according to the article ,”world's leading zoo association accused of overlooking horrific cruelty.”

Zoos believe that they are protecting the animals’, yet; they tend to forget how it affects the animals. In reality, the animals are depressed and bored. These wild animals are being taken out of their natural habitats and are enclosed in small cages and habitats. Wild animals should live in their natural habitats, the wild, not in a zoo for the entertainment of zoo visitors. Therefore, banning zoos will end the horrible cycle of animal cruelty.
