Wash Your Hands for Better Health
Every day we come into contact with things that we don't realise may contain germs and don't give a second thought to. Banisters, taxi door handles, and even newspapers may be contaminated. We have no way of knowing who has touched these items before, and whether these people had clean hands.
This isn't paranoia; the statistics on personal hygiene are hard to wrap our heads around. Dr. Myriam Sidibe, a renowned expert in public health and hygiene, told the audience at a 2014 TED Talk that an estimated 80 per cent of people don't wash their hands after using the toilet. That's a horrific number of people. Keep that percentage in mind and think about the number of germs that are spreading around because people are too lazy - or don't think it's necessary - to spend a few seconds washing their hands with soap and water.

Can you use hand sanitizer instead?
The answer to this question is a little tricky. Yes, you can use hand sanitizer - but only when you don't have access to soap and water. People often carry little bottles of sanitizers in their purses or keep them in their cars so that they're within reach. There are a lot of different ways to stay healthy, but it can also be very difficult to follow a good diet plan all the time. I know that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and I have tried to eat well before all of my classes. I include the necessary protein of eggs and sausage, and include a fruit of some kind.
Eating healthy changes you for the best. Healthy eating is good for the soul, mind, and body it helps with stress, depression, and clearing acne. We as a society need healthy foods to stay productive in life, and healthy eating is a choice why not make the best one.
But just remember that if you wear rubber gloves to clean the toilet, take them off and clean your hands before cleaning any other part of the bathroom.
A healthy lifestyle is usually picked up as we get older. However, think of how much more beneficial it would be for our bodies when we get older, if we would have learned and adapted to a healthier lifestyle when we were younger? Teaching your kids how important a healthy diet is, will help them maintain that lifestyle in their older years. Not to mention have lower health risks, higher self-esteem and it will give them the energy they need to keep up with their eating habits and maintain their body weight.
