Final Essay Sports are a major part of every student's life. Many of these kids, make a way to actually make playing a sport their job. Now more than ever, more and more young athletes are looking for jobs that include their favorite pastime, playing sports. Playing on a sport’s team have positive and negative elements, but it can also teach them valuable life lessons. Even though many disagree, playing on a sport’s team could benefit a child’s well- being, by making new friends, exercising, and being active in school. First off, when you enter your child in a new team, they usually meet new friends. At first, barely anyone knows each other, so new friendships could be born. First off, if you are on a team, you would be super busy. Usually there is practice every night of the week, and since most of the player sare students, they have barely any time to complete their assignments. On top of that, is the weekly, tow hour long game once a week. Overall, they would be really busy with homework, practices, and games. Most importantly, the player’s grade might drop, due to playing a sport. With all the scheduled events, the players would barely have enough time to finish their homework. All students know that once you miss one or two assignments, your grade most likely dropped down a letter. Finally, playing on a sports team could be dangerous, by the possible risk of getting an injury. If you have a broken foot, you are barely any help with the team, so they make you sit out and watch. In the future, that minor injury could cause arthritis or even a major defect. To conclude, being on a sports team has negative, by being busy, possibility of having lower grades, and
