say that Columbus day should be just gone for good and forgotten. It is confirmed that the government has removed Columbus day of the calendar. So for my thoughts and situation, Everything that happened during Columbus's time was horrible and there have been where he is horrible human being but this is all history and you can change the holiday now but it's was all history then. For an example the girl from World War II now everybody is like talking about how it should never be around anymore and people find it and sleep but the thing is is that it's history end in the right about that but like I said can change history. now, this is happening Columbus Day. These people learned to use tools made from stone and wood. They also invented spear, the bow and arrow to make their hunting more sufficient. However, as the people continue to hunt and gather wild food, food becomes limited. People turned to agriculture, people began to domesticate crops and animals. These changes allowed these people to settle in one place rather than constantly moving around to find food sources. Since, people don’t have to spend hours and hours to find food, they have more time to spare. More time to spare allowed them to create thousands of artistic arts and architecture . As agriculture continued to rise, more food were available, the population increase drastically. Cities were formed and the system of government was also set up. Social class also was formed. The leaders of Indian tribes were usually the most wealthiest.Unlike many European countries, Native women were well respected, in some tribes, they were given the power in making the decisions.

In school, children are taught that Christopher Columbus was a national hero. In actuality, the man was a murderer. It is true that he found a land that was unknown to the "civilized" world, yet in this discovery, he erased the natives inhabiting the land. With slavery, warfare, and inhumane acts, Christopher Columbus and the men who accompanied him completely destroyed a people, a culture, and a land. These are not actions that should be heralded as heroic.
