The patriots are the best team in the NFL. I have been a fan for my entire life and I believe everyone should be too. Here are 3 reasons why I think everyone should be a fan. One, they’re on their way to their 6th Super Bowl Win, two they have the best quarterback of all time, and finally they have one of the best coaches of all time.
First of all, the Patriots are on their way to their 6th super bowl win. This would tie up the Pittsburgh Steelers record of 6 wins, who are also AFC rivals. The Steelers, hold the highest amount of super bowl wins. They have since improved their plays and overall team effort in the fight to win year after year. In Super Bowl 51, the Patriots were down by 25 points and finally came back to win it in over time 34-28. Overall the patriots are a great team, always improving, and they never give up no matter how bad the score is.

Another reason why the Patriots are such a good team is because they have such a fantastic quarterback.
In the past three seasons Tom Brady has thrown over 90 touchdowns and only 13 interceptions. Tom brady is 40 years old, he should be retired; however, he keeps playing as a important part of the team and never giving up. He has been playing with the Patriots for 18 years! Thats older than me. Also, he has over 66,000 passing yards in his career. He has fourth best passing yards for any quarterback with only Peyton Manning, Brett Favre, and Drew Brees ahead of him; all respected names in the NFL. Overall Tom brady is a great quarterback and he really helps contribute to all the Patriots
wins. Another major factor to the patriots being a great team is their head coach Bill Belichick. After coaching the Patriots for 18 seasons he has led them to 12 AFC Championship titles. He has also been around for all of the franchises super bowl victories. Fans love him so much by the way he celebrates touchdowns with no emotion at all. He has even gained the nickname “hoodie” for never showing emotion. The only time you might see him celebrate is on a game winning touchdown. All in all Belichick is a great coach because of how long he has been with the team, his afc championship wins, and how “loveable” he is. Overall I believe that everyone should be a patriots fan. Not only because of how great they are, their amazing QB, and their amazing head coach. I hope everyone agrees with me and joins me along with many other patriots fans.
Their owner’s thirst for television coverage and eternal relevance has given him the nickname “The Ringmaster.” Enter New England Patriots. The team adorned in red, white and blue
Today I’m here to talk about how Tom Brady is a cheater. On February 1, 2015 super bowl XLIX was played. The game ended with the New England Patriates defeated the Seattle Seahawks 28-24. The balls used by the Patriates put in Tom Brady’s hands had been deflated prior to the game. The game was played in an over cast and rainy weather forecast. Where deflated balls would be easier to catch/throw.
Brett Favre grew up idolizing a pair of Southern quarterbacks, the Saints' Archie Manning and the Cowboys' Staubach. He grew up in Kiln, Mississippi and went to high school in there. His high school, Hancock North Central, honored him this past May by re-naming the field, 'Brett Favre Field,' and unveiling a life-sized statue of the quarterback at the stadium's entrance. The school previously had retired his jersey, Number 10, in 1993. He stayed in the south to go to college where he went to Southern Miss. He became the starter at Southern Miss in his third game of his freshman season. Favre majored in special education. He led his Southern Mississippi team to 29 victories, including two bowl victories, during his four varsity seasons, 1987-90, and climaxed his collegiate career by earning a MVP award in the East-West Shrine game featuring the nation's best seniors. Favre set school records for passing yards (8,193), pass attempts (1,234), completions (656), completion percentage (53.2), touchdowns (55), and with only 35 interceptions. His production included five 300-yard passing games and five 3-TD performances, while his 7,695 regular-season passing yards ranked him among the top 30 of all-time NCAA passers. His 1.57 interception ratio in 1988 was the lowest among the 50 top-ranked passers in the nation, and his 2.9 interception rate for his four-year career also ranks as one of the best in NCAA history. Also he was the MVP of the All-American Bowl at the conclusion of his senior year. All those records and stats and that was only in college!!!
An athlete’s college career is something seldom used when determining the best players at each position to play professional football. To seriously distinguish between whether Manning or Brady is the best quarterback of their generation their college careers must be carefully examined. Manning, a farm-boy, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 24, 1976 ("Peyton Manning Career Biography and Statistics | SportHaven.com"). His father attended Ole Miss, where he is very well known, but Peyton, when making his decision chose to attend the hated University of Tennessee. As a Tennessee Vol, Peyton Manning, not only set records, but also posted astronomical numbers. He won his first start as quarterback, 10-9 against Washington State, and lead the team t...
Steelers’ away games are filled with people dressed in black and yellow waving their “terrible towels” around. According to the article “Ranking All 32 NFL Fan Bases," the Steelers are ranked number two of the top fan bases in the NFL (Bostick). The Steelers are known for having sell out crowds for every single game since 1972, and they have fans on a six-year waiting list for season tickets. Therefore, when it comes to wanting to be at the game whether home or away, the loyalty shown to the Pittsburgh Steelers is one of the best in the league. The Steelers also have a Twitter account that helps connect them with the fans and promote certain giveaways and information. Their Twitter page currently has 1.2 million followers that allow the franchise to connect with fans more than ever before.
Tom Brady is a very well known player in the NFL and a 3 time Super Bowl winner. He was also the youngest quarterback to lead a team to the superbowl and MVP at two of those Super Bowls. Along with that he is married to model Gisele Bundchen. There is no doubt that he has had a very successful life so far this is when his story begins.
Do you like professional football? Have you ever wondered where teams originate from? Or what teams have been around the longest? The Pittsburgh Steelers are a professional team that has an extensive history. There are also many unique details about them that other NFL teams do not have. There creator was a great man who started the team from practically nothing, their name and logo represent great tradition, and lastly, they have won many championships.
...y would argue that no other quarterback will be able to ever match his level of success. Even though he was interested in other sports as a young boy, it is crystal clear that he was supposed to play football. At six feet five inches and 230 pounds, we can assume that he would be a formidable opponent in any sport; but looks don't count. Actions are what count, and Peyton has certainly delivered in that department.
What truly is amazing is the person Tim Tebow represents off the field. He is a devout Christian who works to spread his religion and give hope to those in need. Tebow has been involved with controversy that started in his days in high school, due to a law in Florida that allowed him to pick his high school. Tebow is possibly the only player to be under national scrutiny from his high school playing days through his career in the NFL both on and off the field. Most of this controversy is because of his faith and how he displayed it on field. The best way to describe him is to say that he is a polarizing person and player in the sense that people either love or hate him. Tim Tebow is, indeed, a great person and role model on the playing field as well as off of it.
Philadelphia out-Patriots-ed New England in Super Bowl LII by playing like it had nothing to lose. The Patriots put up arguably the best offensive performance in a loss in NFL history. The Eagles just survived.
Of all the games this week, I couldn’t think of a better game than what we have here. These two teams have a combined record of 22-6. The two quarterbacks involved in this game, Carson Palmer and Aaron Rodgers, are two of the best in the business. In my opinion, the winner of this game will be the NFC’s number two seed come January.
Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. also known as Tom Brady or Tom terrific is a worldwide phenomenon. He is one of the greatest quarterbacks of NFL history. He is currently playing for the New England Patriots and played for Michigan State in college.
What you do not understand is that the Patriots have gone to eight Super Bowls in the past 20 years, and have won 5 out of the 8. In 2002 “The Greatest Show on Turf” was beaten by the Patriots with an Adam Vinatieri kick with 4 seconds left on the clock to win Super Bowl 36. Another record the Patriots have set is winning two Super Bowls with a game winning kick. The Pats game plan going through the game was hit Marshal Faulk on every single play, which made him exhausted, and not as good as he could have been at the end of the game. The Patriots have the longest winning streak out of any pro football franchise outscoring their opponents with a 2:1 ratio. Then later in Super Bowl 42 the Patriots got unlucky when Eli Manning got away from a sack and threw the ball to David Tyree which would be caught on top of his helmet, and
Over the past semester, I have found the most challenging part of this course to simply be the transition from high school composition classes to college. Because writing expectations are so different in college than in high school, even with AP and Dual Enrollment “college level” classes, I first found myself being overwhelmed with the pressure to write the perfect first draft. The pressure came from knowing how much a final draft of a paper contributed to my grade. This left me sitting in front of my computer for hours at a time with thoughts of what I wanted to say racing through my head, but unable to deliver these thoughts into organized, structured sentences. I learned, through writing my persuasive essay, that instead of trying to write the paper start to finish and already in its perfect form, it is easier for me to look at the paper through its different components and focus on them individually, then work to best organize my ideas fluently.
I should receive a passing grade in this class because I can write now. Not just an exaggeration, but after another semester of English I finally feel confident that can write. Three of the reasons behind my confidence is I learned, I experienced and best of all I repeated. These three values helped prepare me for what is in store in English 1302 and here is why.
