Justification of violence

Violence and the justification of it have been an issue for as long as the world has been in existence. There are different opinion on this subject. Many of them believe in favor, and many of them in opposing the idea. For an extensive definition of violence, you might need to check dictionary, “The use of physical force to harm someone, to damage property, etc.” (http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/violence) Personally, I believe in both of them. I split them, and believe that, in some case violence can be justified; on the other hand, I believe violence cannot be justified.

In my perspective, the only instance in which violence can be justified is self-defense. For instance, if a woman is being attacked, or sexually forced and persuaded to do something with the person. She has right to fight back, to stand for her right, and to stop it from happening. Not only sexual assault happens against women, but also physical assault. It would be so informal if he thinks of not defending. It is almost unreasonable to believe that. Probably, most of them would do their utmost to defend themselves. It is not a crime if you defend yourself, and by mistake if you killed or injured that robber. It was just self defense that you want it to happen. If a criminal is caught and court gives permission that he should be hanged. This violence can be justified, because it prevents other criminals to do such crimes. Saudi Arabia is the only currently that strictly move on this rule, and as in Holy Quran it is mentioned, "[As for] the thief, the male and the female, amputate their hands in recompense for what they committed as a deterrent [punishment] from Allah, and Allah is exalted in might and wise.”
