Is the consequence for murder acceptable even though it is murder? The death penalty is how the government chooses to deal with those convicted of murder. There are plenty of different ways other than the death penalty such as implementing programs. The death penalty does not solve anything. No person should have the right to take another 's life. The death penalty should be abolished in all states because it denies the basic human, it is hypocritical, and there are other forms of justice.

It is very likely for survivors of a victim to be angry at the time of the perpetrators death. Although in the end they could feel any number of emotions from deep sadness at the continued murder to a feeling of guilt for wanting someone dead. Or even feel as if they were a part of the murder. These feelings are not feelings of comfort and easiness, though they are of the aftermath of a death sentence. They do not deserve to feel like this on top of the grief they already face. As for the family of the perpetrator it is already tough enough to deal with the loss of a loved one due to their crimes, bad choices or actions. They should not be expected to be held accountable for the crimes of their loved ones. To to have to watch as they are taken from them indefinitely in a cruel, inhuman and painful way. In some cases in front of a group of people who could care less about the life that is being taken. As for the perpetrator usually they already regret the things they have done to get them to where they are. Regret is a human emotion, showing regret is to show humanity, and to be given the very opposite in return is painful on an emotional, physical, and mental
