There are many career paths that do not require a college degree. In result, many individuals have lessened the value of education. It is, indeed, true that you can advance your career by interning and participating in a job training. However, no one can ever be certain of the future and a college degree could provide some stability to your future career: “many economists and educators point to data showing that the fastest growing job categories require at least a college degree. College graduates are much more likely to be employed than those with only high school diploma and earn substantially higher salaries” (260) Hrabowski. Also, American post-secondary education system offers many different schools and programs that will fit your schedule and your career choice: “Students can find institutions---public and private, two-year and four year---for just about any educational niche and budget” (260) Hrabowski.
