Many people buy pets rather than adopt from shelters because they think they are healthy, purebred and well-behaved. But actually the sheltered animals may be healthier, happier and much cheaper. In the recent years, more and more people decide to adopt animals since there are numerous advantages such as changing a homeless animal’s whole life, reducing illegal trade and puppy farms and benefiting from long- term advice and support.

Abandoned by their owners, sheltered animals had experienced an unpleasant

Another reason for adopting not buying is that you can benefit from long-term advice and support. When you buy an animal form a breeder or a pet store, most of the time the advice ends when you walk out the door. Nevertheless, if you adopt or rescue an animal from a shelter, there will be a lifetime of advice, support and guidance on how to bring up and care for your pet. You can go back to them anytime and ask for any help, and they are willing to provide any assistance.

In general, adopting animals is beneficial and meaningful. You are not only saving animal’s lives but also preventing more animals from being bred in an inhumane way. Further, it makes everything easier while having so many advices and support.
