Imagine someone from your family or you are drafted into the military at eighteen for an emergency. Now imagine that you or them die you because all don't have the experience needed. That is why I think the age you can join the military needs to be lowered from seventeen to thirteen or fourteen. If you were to join the military at fourteen though you wouldn't be to go into battle but you would go to a local base to learn train and learn to adapt to living conditions. You would also have to sign a paper at eighteen to ensure that you are ready for battle. If you don't then you can just quit if you don't want to continue with the military.This would be a good idea because some people go into the military at eighteen but they do not learn everything quick enough and this would help. …show more content…

The reason people have to train for your tolerance level is so they can handle a lot of pain. Pain is a big factor of war. Pain comes in different forms, literal and emotional or mental. The reason they have to train for both is because they might get hurt in some way that he or she will have to deal with the pain if it is minor. If they get an injury or lose a friend can be very painful, and if they don't train for that pain then they might stop because of it and it can get them killed. The next thing people have to train for is equipment. The military has a lot of equipment that can save someones life in an emergency if needed, but if they do not know how to use that equipment then there is no use for it. The final thing people need to train for is combat. The reason is is someonte might be walking and get attacked along the way. If they are to close to the person that attacked them to use their weapon and they don't know how to fight then they would have a less of a chance to survive. But if they did know how to fight then he or she would have a greater chance of surviving. That is only the first
