IUPUI is located in Indianapolis, Indiana, so it’s in-state, so it’s cheaper than the out of state schools, and it’s a public school so it will be cheaper than a private school like Notre Dame. With everything that’s required, and without scholarships it costs about $22,387 to go here for in state students, and around $43,937 to go here for out of state students. The housing there is usually around 2,500-3,000 dollars, unless you’re renting a room at an apartment near the school, then it might be around 4,000 a year. The place I would like to stay at IUPUI would be at the old hotel that they turned into housing for university students. It’s also a pretty decent sized school with about 22,525 undergraduate students and about 8,165 graduate students, so a total of around 30,690 students. The main component I look for in college is their commitment to further my studies. I feel this college will provide an ingenious culture within the science field, therefore rendering myself with the building blocks necessary to later pursue the medical field. Not only does UNCW devote itself towards their student’s undergraduate years, but also by providing Professional pathways such as Pre-Medicine, students such as myself can go into Professional schools better prepared. In addition to my interest in the academics the school has to offer, I also marvel at the amount of extracurricular activities available to the student body. One student organization in particular is the Greek Life. When my mother attended this school, she was an avid member
The University of Pennsylvania provides a variety of different schools that help individuals grow into strong leaders. The particular undergraduate school I desire to be in is the school of nursing, which is the top school in the United States. The school will provide me with state of the art material and professors that will help me in my academics, and teach me how to become a great nurse in the modern medical world.

The education system has been changing in recent years and the same problems that existed continue to get worse as years pass. Problems that were seen as minor at first have now grown. How to change the public higher education system has been a major topic of discussion but there has still been no major action taken. We struggle to figure out how much funding is needed for higher education and where it should come from. Our people continue to suffer from an underfunded high cost system. The wealthy minority of people continue to be the only ones accounted for and it is time to change this. We need to adapt to the changes and the costs that continue to rise. It is time to help the struggling middle and lower classes. I believe that the best
College education goes about the way to an effective future for people who are not kidding with it. Currently, a college education has turned in the base necessity in securing a job in different companies and although some people might think college is not worth the debt, in a long run it actually is.
The United States is a never-ending battleground for issues to fester. We as a group of people seem to only be happy when we are unhappy, and everything is open for conversation of improvement. Others can classify our society’s constant need for change and enhancement, as a curse or a blessing. Nonetheless, the education system in the United States is always a hot topic for people to discuss, as it has not been a success with all of its parties. Yet we strive for perfection as a society and as we do, we look at the groups of people that control the decisions made that influence the masses of students that progress through the system. Who can we blame? Is it the teachers union? Or, are the administrators failing these children? How about the school board? Well if it’s not any of these groups it has to be the government, right?
Since the dawn of humanity, exercise has been crucial for physical survival. In recent times, however, exercise is losing its significance to human survival. Some would argue that it already has lost its significance, and as exercise becomes less important, people exercise less. According to fitness.gov, only 33% of adults receive the recommended amount of physical activity each week (citation). Clearly there is a problem. However, there is still a fraction of the population that exercises diligently. Why do these people stick with it? Exercise has countless advantages that are still extremely important to our lives. So even though the need of exercise may appear to be diminishing, the practical effects should be enough to encourage people
Education is a huge topic of controversy, society is always trying to reform what we know as education today. Right now, the first 12 years of education are entirely free for students directly, but in the end are paid for by the taxpayers of the town. The question is, why should only grades k-12 be free why not a college education too? On the other hand, there are some exceptions to free schooling at the k-12 levels. The most prominent being, Private schooling, most towns in the United States have at least one if not many private schools. They require a certain amount in tuition for each of its students every year. An example of this, in my town Salem, NH one of the most known private catholic schools is St. Joseph 's. I had a good friend a few years back
I should receive a passing grade in this class because I can write now. Not just an exaggeration, but after another semester of English I finally feel confident that can write. Three of the reasons behind my confidence is I learned, I experienced and best of all I repeated. These three values helped prepare me for what is in store in English 1302 and here is why.
