Evolution has become a controversial topic over the years and with dominant evidence, we know that it takes place even today. Evolution is a slow and time consuming process which is why we do not observe it instantaneously. To observe evolutionary patterns, you must take it in large amounts of time. Charles Darwin is known as the “Father of Evolution” and discovered much of the evolutionary concepts that we have an understanding. Evolution has branches that include change with humans, animals, sex, behaviors, survival, and extinction. Summed up, evolution is a scientific theory that states that change over time in the biotic population. The controversy of evolution has always come from opposing religious viewpoints of creationism. These being that organisms are related by a common ancestor but with modification and then with evolutionary history when lineages split from one another and the changes that occur in each lineage and third being the process at which evolution occur. Many conclusions of evolutionary history are well established. For example, that the chimpanzee and gorilla are more closely related to humans than is any of those three species to the baboon or other monkeys. Other matters are less certain and still others such as precisely when life originated on Earth or when multicellular animals, plants, and fungi first appeared. These remain largely unresolved. Evolution is still a wide topic of discussion and always presents itself to be very debatable. Evolution is not only found in humans and other like animals but it can be observed in other forms of nature as well. There is strong evidence of geographical evolution as well.
Proof of Evolution
Evolution has simple 5 examples of evidence to prove it. 1 being the universal genetic code. All cells on Earth, from white blood cells, to bacteria, to tree leaf cells, are capable of reading any piece of DNA from any life form on Earth. This is very strong evidence for a common ancestor from

Many fossil birds are found with teeth. This is because birds evolved from dinosaurs which do have teeth. Eventually birds lost their teeth and now no living species has them. So evolution means we share a history with all the animals around us but also all the animals that are extinct. Again, the main overall idea is that we are all related in some way considering that the theory is true. Some animals are more closely related to others than some though. My conclusion is that evolutionary biology is a strong and vigorous topic to debate. A theoretical framework that encompasses several basic mechanisms is consistent with the patterns seen and found in nature and there is abundant evidence demonstrating that it is actually happening and still is every single day as well as their contributions to nature. Evolution is just a theory, but with the strong abundance of facts to back this theory up, we can strongly infer that evolution is a very real concept. Evolution is argued with solid facts and evidence and the idea of it should be respected as a logical theory. Like many other fields of science, the topic does have its fair share of debate but it should not shake up the credibility of the topic. Evolutionary change continues to this day, and it will proceed so long as life itself
Evolution, also known as descent with modification, is a phrase Darwin used in proposing the evolution of Earth’s many species. Charles Darwin noticed that the descendants of ancestral species were different from the present day forms of species. Darwinism is a theory of biological evolution developed by Charles Darwin who was an English naturalist. He expounded the theory of evolution in his book of the Origin Species in 1859. He expresses that all types of organisms emerge and develop through natural selection, small, acquired traits that expands the individuals of capacity, survival, and reproduction. In this book, Darwin theorized that animals and plants evolve and develop with the aid of the creator through the process of natural selection.
A lot of conflicts, debates, and even fights are about a theory by a scientist called Charles Darwin. This theory is the theory of evolution, which is viewed as the most important and the most debated theory of all-time. This theory changed science forever. However, this theory is not believed by everyone and some people even say that Charles Darwin, who formulated this theory, even said it was wrong before he died. However, this theory is not all wrong and useless, because natural selection, which is the mechanism of this theory, is believed in by most people and scientist. Although natural selection is believed in by most people and scientist, there is an argument that natural selection is a random process, however natural selection is definitely not a random process.
What is evolution? Evolution in modern terms is fairly easy to understand. Evolution is the theory that life on earth began with a single celled organism that lived more that 3.5 billion years ago that slowly evolved into many diverse creatures over time. When you break down this theory into sections you get 6 factors: evolution, gradualism, speciation, common ancestry, natural selection and nonselective mechanisms of evolutionary change.
Species that now populate the Earth come from other species that existed in the past, through a process of descent with modification. Biological evolution is the historical process of transformation from one species in other descendant species, including the extinction of most of the species that have ever existed. One of the most romantic ideas in the evolution of life is that any two living organisms, different as they are, they share a common ancestor sometime in the past. We and any current chimpanzee share an ancestor of 5 million years. We also have a common ancestor with any bacteria that exist today, although time this predecessor to soar in this case more than 3000 million years. However, the idea of evolution by itself is an open concept, is a mechanical description of change does not say anything about the engine or the creative force behind the transformation. Thus, in principle, evolution can be driven by immanent laws of matter, or a divine creator or by blind forces,
After Sir Charles Darwin had introduced his original theory about the origins of species and evolution, humanity’s faith in God that remained undisputed for hundreds of years had reeled. The former unity fractured into the evolutionists, who believed that life as we see it today had developed from smaller and more primitive organisms, and creationists, who kept believing that life in all its diversity was created by a higher entity. Each side introduced substantial arguments to support their claims, but at the same time the counter-arguments of each opponent are also credible. Therefore, the debates between the evolutionists and the creationists seem to be far from ending. And though their arguments are completely opposite, they can co-exist or even complement each other.
Darwinism, the theory of evolution, is a controversial theory that is still being contemplated today. Before the 19th century scientist were puzzled by the idea of where humans, plants, and animals originated. In the late 1700s the question was first tried by a group of scientist, but they were not successful. It was not until a young Charles Darwin found interest in the subject that the discovery was finally able to become a theory. His observations led to his theory of evolution by natural selection. Although, it was a new discovery that shocked so many, Darwin and his accomplices did not realize how significant their newfound theory was. ~~~~
Natural selection is simple yet complex process that allows species adapt to its environment. Natural selection guides evolution by “sifting out” favorable traits that increase survival for the species. Natural selection is driven by reproductive success. If a species can reproduce and its offspring survive than any traits in its genotype that assisted in its survival will be passed on from generation to generation and ensure that the species will live on. Around the time the Theory of Evolution was suggested, society was very religious and very pressed on the Theory of Creation, so the publication of Darwin’s The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection caused a lot of controversy. Darwin gave the world strong evidence that natural selection and evolution played a major role in the development of the species that we see today. Of course natural selection is not the only process driving evolution. In order for natural selection to happen, the species has to have genetic variation. Genetic variation happens because of mutations and recombination of genes. Other processes that contribute are gene flow and genetic
The thought of evolution is filled with theories, ideas and beliefs. The definition of evolution is rather simple. According to Jerry A. Coyle, evolution is “the change in the inherited characteristics of biological populations over successive generations (2). Evolution gives rise to diversity when it comes to the hierarchy of life otherwise known as biological organization. Many people find the topic of evolution to be troubling and very confusing. Throughout history churches have preached that evolution is atheistic and a sin if even thought about. Famous scientist, Charles Darwin, is said to really be the first to formulate debated theory of evolution by the means of natural selection. Eventually in the 20th century genetics was compounded with Charles Darwin’s theories of evolution. Even today scientists continue to study different aspects of the theory of evolution.
Are we still evolving? How do humans and apes share a common ancestor? Modern human species or Homo sapiens have shown great similarities in the physical and genetic makeup to another group primates species, the apes. Both organisms share a common ancestor dating back eight to six million years ago. Evolution means change over time. Human evolution is the process by which humans have emerged from apelike ancestors. Through sequences of mutations, genetic drift, migration, and natural selection and technology we are able to observe the amazing amount of similarities and diversity of humans to other living organisms. Humans have roamed the earth for about six million years. At least, that is from when the oldest human ancestor was discovered.
...o happen. But with the help of fossil evidence we are able to identify common ancestors and evolutionary pathways between species. We also identify oxygen as a major key contribution for life to evolve. Also, through scientific research it has been established that arthropods and chordates have shared genes, leading to the path of vertebrates and human life.
What is evolution and how does it work? Evolution is the theory of how one form of life changes into another form. Evolution also is the change in a population’s inherited traits from generation to generation. Evolution helps to explain why an animal, human, and plant looks the way it does and acts the way it does; it gives an explanation of the history of life. Genes come in many varieties, and the evolution helps to make it happen.
Evolution views life to be a process by which organisms diversified from earlier forms, whereas creation illustrates that life was created by a supernatural being. Creation and evolution both agree on the existence of microevolution and the resemblance of apes and humans but vary in terms of interpreting the origins of the life from a historical standpoint. A concept known as Faith Vs Fact comprehensively summarizes the tone of this debate, which leads to the question of how life began. While creation represents a religious understanding of life, evolution acknowledges a scientific interpretation of the origins of life. The theory is illustrated as the process by which organisms change species over time.
Imagine a world where there are no animals anywhere. There are still the ordinary cows, pigs, cats, dogs, but there is not a single tiger or rhinoceros. People all around the world have been killing animals for thousands of years and they need to stop and obey the laws. Make your voice heard for the animals; they can’t speak for themselves so we need to do it for them. Other reasons on why animals are getting put on the endangered species list and or going extinct: habitat intrusion, pet trade, climate change, and disease. Please help to save the animals or they won’t be here any longer.
Evolution is the scientific theory of the development of living organisms during their period on earth. The theory takes into consideration the biological processes of natural selection, mutation, symbiosis, gene transfer and genetic drift.
Without evolution, and the constant ever changing environment, the complexity of living organisms would not be as it is. Evolution is defined as a process that results in heritable changes in a population spread over many generations (8).Scientists believe in the theory of evolution. This belief is based on scientific evidence that corroborates the theory of evolution. In Figure 1 the pictures of the skulls depict the sequence of the evolution of Homo-sapiens. As the figure shows, man has evolved from our common ancestor that is shared by homo-sapiens. The change of diet of homo-sapiens over time has thought to contribute to the change in jaw structure and overall skull shape.
