It’s a bit strange, they can believe in their soldiers and the honoring of the fallen and yet forget, on Sunday, why they serve and for what reasons they have fallen. The limits, I suppose, are when it becomes inconvenient to protect and defend the Constitution, when it interferes with Nationalism, Patriotism or their day off, not for purposes of Worship and giving thanks, but their relaxation and entertainment.

Are veterans and the Military the only ones that count? Many faces make up America and many ideas as well as creativity and hard work have made it possible for “We the People” to be able to support a military this big.

So, when you say, “By not standing for the National Anthem” you are disrespecting the Military and those who have served, what about all the other Americans, are they not as entitled to

Do you believe in the constitution and do you believe that those who swore and oath to protect it and defend it, only do so, for some of the people or do they just protect and defend some parts of the constitution and not others?

You can certainly disapprove of what others do, and you can believe it is wrong, but it is the very height of hypocrisy to claim you support the men and women who have fought, died and have been wounded, when they themselves have done so in defense of these very actions taken by a few, yes highly paid gamers, so that this Democratic Republic might retain is Liberties, such as the one we now see on display before these Games. I would like to think we all are much greater than this, that we might not take offense so, personally. If a man declares his hatred for this nation, that indeed is sad, let him go where he may in peace, and if he takes up arms against us let him know the full measure of our unity in defense of our way of life.
