Free Coffee? Most people have moments in their life where they just want to enjoy an expensive Caribou drink without paying for it. The kind of drink that makes one gasp when they first see it, and when they take a sip of it their mouth craves for more. I would love this free drink. In order to get one, I must be able to find the right person and persuade them to buy it for me. I have three siblings: Kaylee, Kyle, and Kurt who would be strong contenders in getting a payed-for coffee. The question is: who would more likely buy me a drink?
Kaylee is twenty years old and is the oldest sibling. She works at an orthodontist office as a dental assistant and earns more money than me. Even though she finished her Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, she still lives at home. My hope is that she will find a nice young

He has worked at Culver’s for about two years but has a tendency to spend what he makes on energy drinks and food from the gas station. The other day we walked to the gas station and he bought me breakfast. He is generous and a pretty cool guy that people like to spend time with. He loves to make people laugh and feel good about themselves. Kurt and I are also good friends. We talk and share things that we haven’t told anyone else and give honest opinions. Kurt loves to drive and he loves coffee. One time he was driving me back from church and he took all the back road because he didn’t want the ride to end. Kurt makes coffee almost every day in the morning before school. Therefore, if I ask him if he would like to go to Caribou and let him drive, he wouldn’t think twice and run out the door with the car keys in his hands. Like Kyle, Kurt likes to spend quality time with people rather than getting a nice card or a cool gift. Kurt doesn’t work a whole lot of hours so we are home at the same time after school. It would be a great time to get coffee and talk about all the homework we have for the
I believe that Kaylee is a very loving and caring person because she never asked NEED to do something for her, but for her brother. She will do anything for her brother, DJ. She has

I have only one sibling as I mentioned earlier. Jennifer, who is three years older than I am. She graduated from Jefferson High School. She has since earned an Associate Degree from Gainesville Community College and is also employed by Regions Mortgage. In April of 1995 she married Jon Ray and they continue to reside in Jefferson, Georgia.
Coke continuously out-stands Pepsi, even though they share a very similar taste and colour, however Coke should not be the drink that receives all the love and attention for what it offers. Despite their similar soda colour, the drinks actually contain some different ingredients, which produce a different taste, and affect the body differently. Furthermore, the way the companies markets their drinks makes a huge contribution to how successful their products will become. The major element for success however stems from their impact on society and how the companies utilize their social power to evolve. The two major soda companies are constantly head to head with one another, yet it is what they do that sets them apart.
As the youngest in my family, I can relate directly to Squib. When I was in fifth grade, my older sister Clary was my idol, the girl I wanted to be like. She was the one who had taught me how to write stories. When she came home from school speaking English, I wondered if I would ever be like her. Her grades were increasingly perfect, while I lacked skills in math and science. Still, we were best friends, even sharing a room.
It is sad. People from all races and backgrounds are obese. In a recent survey done at Henry Ford College, 43 percent of students were overweight. Whether it is because they do not follow a healthy diet or they inherited it from their parents. Being overweight is correlated with lacking exercise or physical activity and not watching what is on the plate. Obesity can cause many illnesses, including diabetes, which is very common. As the debate whether soda tax should take effect arises, critics say that the tax will help those with obesity-related illnesses. What about exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle? These two factors cannot be forgotten knowing they are the most important. Americans have consumed 12 percent of soda and become less active since 1970. A soda tax aims to stop consumers from buying soda to help those who are obese. This will not be effective. Therefore a soda tax will not be good public policy.
It’s no secret that Central Oregon is a brewtopia for craft beers and breweries, but there’s a new beverage trending in America that’s being brewed right here in Bend as well¬––hard cider. Traditional cider is an alcoholic beverage made from the fermented juice of apples, pears, peaches and other fruit. This flavorful libation, once the beverage of choice in America, is waging a comeback.
There is so much to be discovered in our vast world of technology. Scientists and researchers work hard everyday to educate themselves and others on the advances capable of being achieved. There are people learning about new technology, different scientific and medical methods, and most of all medicine everyday. However, there is always a price to pay with hypotheses running their course through experiments, and that is the testing subject. Scientists feel the best choice for such research is to use animals to be tested, and that great achievements in the science world are worth it. Just as these scientists are, testing on innocent animals is completely wrong. Just because they are available for testing, and don’t have any ability to opt out in these experiments, does not mean they are right for the job.
Going to college has been getting more expensive every year since colleges started. Going to college gives a student a chance to find a career in their major of choice. The only problem is that it isn’t always guaranteed. There are millions of graduated students that can’t find jobs in their major. Most of those students have student loans that they still owe and can’t afford to pay off. The average student with student loans owes over $25,000 and that doesn’t include all that interest that piles up every month. The United States should make college tuition free for everyone that has a high school degree. That can be achieved by making colleges give free tuition, changing the way interest piles up, and by lowering the military budget.
She stands a staggering 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighs a massive 95 pounds, and has short, brown hair and brown eyes. I see my older sister Leslie. Others see a model of perfection. Don't get me wrong, my sister and I are close and have been inseparable since birth. My mother has kept pictures of us ranging from the time we shared a playpen as babies to just recently at Leslie's graduation. For seventeen years, we've shared every life experience imaginable, and we've dealt with the trials and tribulations that come with growing up. But in September, she left home to attend the University of California at Irvine, leaving me to face life alone. However, it gave me the opportunity to live life by myself as Ryan, instead of Leslie's little brother.
Cigarettes are bad. Since the scientific discovery of 1964 on health effects of smoking, no one can deny their link to cancer and other life-threatening disease anymore (Komaroff). More than six million people die due to smoking related diseases every year (Daube et al., 1001). Each one of these cancer sticks contain 400 toxins (Tarshis, 5). Before laws regulating cigarette advertising, companies knew exactly how to influence young adults. Many may recall Joe Camel which was a “cool” camel often seen wearing sunglasses in the 90s or doctors proclaiming Marlboros were better or even Santa Claus claiming he preferred Lucky Strike. Each brand has its personality. Marlboro was known for his Marlboro Man, a mysterious manly cowboy who is always armed with his hat and his cigarette. While Vogue was a feminine fashionable brand which were often flavored. It wasn’t uncommon to see marketing tactics such as putting collectors baseball cards inside the pack. Although laws every where in the world limit to which extend tobacco companies can market their products. Advertising that targeted

Almost everyone who enjoys drinking energy drinks, knows that high levels of caffeine are in these beverages, and they continue to drink the ignoring the risks. But some people are fine with the high levels of caffeine and just drink them because it makes them feel energized. Education is a huge topic of controversy, society is always trying to reform what we know as education today. Right now, the first 12 years of education are entirely free for students directly, but in the end are paid for by the taxpayers of the town. The question is, why should only grades k-12 be free why not a college education too? On the other hand, there are some exceptions to free schooling at the k-12 levels. The most prominent being, Private schooling, most towns in the United States have at least one if not many private schools. They require a certain amount in tuition for each of its students every year. An example of this, in my town Salem, NH one of the most known private catholic schools is St. Joseph 's. I had a good friend a few years back
