Fight the Cruelty Animal cruelty is a very sad topic, but it needs to be addressed. Innocent animals are harmed by humans, and not for self defence or survival. People do this just to do it, and that is why it is so ridiculous. Some do it to benefit from the animal, use them for things like fashion. There are other alternatives to making a fur coat, harming an innocent animal should not be an option. The fact that humans do it and get away with it is sickening. There are laws that protect the animals, but people, especially hunters, find ways around them. These animals should be living in an environment where they can feel safe. However, they are living in the complete opposite environment. Humans are at the top of the food chain, this makes them superior and able to make smart decisions. This also means they are able to make the correct decision in helping animals,
Adoption may get the animal into a better home than it did before, but that can not be guaranteed. When someone is going to adopt an abused animal, they must be sure that it will not be harmed when being taken care of. The researcher found that an animal should be treated with care and affection, and possibly even more than usual taking its history into consideration. They will need to work with the animal as much as they can to help it cope with the transaction of moving into a new environment. The last time the animal was being transfered it was more than likely being taken away from its old environment where they were not being treated right. So next time someone finds an animal in a shelter that has been abused and they want it just because it is cute, they should think twice. They need to realise that this animal will need extra work and a dedicated owner to do so. One should only adopt an abused animal if they are sure that they can take good care of it and give it a happy home (“Top 10,”
