Have you ever thought about tattoos has being your hobby or something that you are passionate about? well I did. Tattoos is the crossroad of bodies and art. To me tattoos are defined as many different meanings to everyone, but to me it is where I find relieve and comfort. The colors, shapes and symbols of tattoos has so many different meanings and emotions that it represents.
When it comes to tattoos it’s like a kid in the candy store, it gives you this adrenaline rush making you not thinking about any situation that is bothering you. To others, tattoos might be a negative aspect but they don’t know the true meaning behind why people get it. Tattoos are permanent but their memory evolves.Tattoos are a reflection of a person. It’s a body art that represents someone past or present that they don’t want to talk about but represents it, because it makes them who they are today. At first I thought of tattoos as a bad idea, until I sat down and think about it and what I wanted to get tattooed. I wanted my tattoos to represent me and what I like. As much as I love tattoos at the same time I am constantly asking myself questions such as Why am I addicted to tattoos, why do I go back for more tattoos and Are tattoos a hobby or a endorphin rush?. I was able to answers my questions with numerous researches which provided me with important information that made it a lot more understandable to know why I am addicted to tattoos.

Can one tattoo lead to more tattoos and then it becomes an addiction? This question can be answered in numerous ways but to me it’s an addiction that I am passionate about. At first I thought of tattoos as dumb and only people lower than myself would get that. Now I am the one that’s addicted to tattoos because I find it as an art work on my body that I am passionate about. When I look at my body I can see my reflection of myself in my tattoos. Tattoos to me means something I don’t get it because it looks good or for other people, I get because it defines me and I can always look at it and see how far I have come in life. Tattooing is form of stress reliever for me and that’s why I am addicted to it. I am addicted to the needles and the pain that comes with it.
