Travel photography is pretty self-explanatory, but seeing different cultures amongst different countries has always been a dream of mine. The same can be said for nature photography, which can also involve lots of traveling. This specialization would also allow me to marvel in my fascination towards nature and its true beauty. Fine art photography would give my interests in art a chance to shine on through. Out of all of the specializations that caught my eye, photojournalism is definitely one of the top choices. Journalism has been an interest of mine that I have considered pursuing during my lifetime, as well as

For many of us, graduates and people around the world have a difficult time choosing a career that can be a confusing process. A lot of people tend to settle down on a career quickly. Unfortunately, choosing a rapid occupation often leads to an unsatisfying path in the future, if not sooner. Eventually the individual decides to quit and start all over again. According to choosingacareer.net, “6% of workers over the age 50 are in the process of changing a career, resumes mailed to companies’ staffing departments only accounts for 3% of hires nationwide, and 95% of human resources managers and 95% of job seekers depend on personal contacts and networking to fill and find openings.” (choosingacareer.net) Choosing a career takes time and research, so it’s better to plan your future than rapidly pick one. Although some people claim they are happy with the career they chose of the bat, choosing a career carefully is much more effective because in the long run you will feel content and appreciate more with the choice you made.

Choosing a career path that is right for you can be the most crucial decisions you make in your life. Not only is making the right choice important for the present, but it is especially important for your future. When choosing a career it is valuable to consider things such as growth potential, monetary benefits, strengths, weaknesses, and your happiness. By doing that it will help clarify the benefits and tradeoffs for each opportunity you are given. The pressure is as high as the clients expectations, but it can be a very rewarding occupation. For these reasons, wedding photography is quite a competitive field.
Many of my friends pick their careers based on money and trade skills that they have. I am proficient in art and design, but didn’t feel like that was what I wanted to do for my career. Your career shapes a huge portion of your life. It is what you do every day, for a large portion of your life. It is what I have prepared for the past 12 or so years of my life. It is way more than just money or a skill. I wanted to do something unique, something interesting, something that would inspire me to be a better human, something that would make me feel, something that is challenging, something that helped others, and above all, something that was rewarding and made me feel fulfilled.
A wrong career choice an affect an individual for the rest of their life. It's important for the applicant to consider these factors when making a career
Every fall high school seniors around the globe are in a state of panic. Of course you are no stranger to this process, you have dealt with this stress firsthand. What process is being described you may ask? The process of applying to college. Each year seniors scramble to submit applications, transcripts, and letters of recommendations to the schools of their choice. These documents are essential for nearly all students who want to advance to an institution of higher learning, but for many the paper trail does not end there. Prior to this course, I knew photography was a part of my every day life. After experiencing this course, I know I knew little about photography. Photography is definitely part of my life, but as I reflect on my sixteen-week progression, I realize that everyone can take a picture but “taking a photograph” as an art. My initial thoughts were that with smart phones we are all “photographers” sharing and it has become part of our visual culture, but not all photos deserve appreciation. Although I believed I had an eye for interesting things and liked to shoot pictures from angles or interesting features, I realized that knowing more about the functions and diversity a quality camera could provide was missing. Photography has been a vital part of my personal history and now will be a bigger part of my life as I am armed with knowledge and experience with angles, lighting, settings and Photoshop so the memories I capture will have a stronger purpose. Point and shoot has transitioned into a passion for finding interest in a subject and utilizing my knowledge to create artful photos. Ordinary or standard shots will be a part of my past. Reflecting on my interest in photography as a potential path for my future, or a part of an overall career choice, I realized that if I continue on a public relations or marketing path, photography will be a critical part of my career. Photography 181 has given me invaluable information that will be carried on into my future in both business and personal arenas. My place in photography will continue to include sports action photography as I am an athlete and appreciate these, as well as in editorial or brand image photography as part of my career.
Since the beginning of time art has been a big part of culture and education. From indians paints stories on rock walls to Greek using are to create elaborate structures art has alway been a key role in many cultures. In today’s society the important of art is question. We want to big building with beautiful landscape, but we either take advantage of art or do not give it enough credit. Many people question whether classes such as art, drama, and theatre should still be part of the mandatory curriculum. In most schools you are required to take an art or drama class. In junior high school it is mandatory that you take an art class some time while you are attending junior high. In my opinion students all have different passions so it should not be mandatory, students should however be able to take those classes in high school, but unless you are getting ready to pursue such things in college they will not help you later on.
Possibly the biggest choice of any person's life remains what vocation to go into. Even areas people have skills in may not give enough satisfaction to turn into a career, whether that satisfaction stays financial or otherwise. Whatever occupation I choose, I sincerely hope that the trek will remain on its uncertain and awesome course.
