Recommended: Evidence of the benefit of zoos

The dictionary definition of a zoo is an establishment that maintains a collection of wild animals, typically in a park or gardens, for study, conservation, or display to the public, but the real definition of a zoo is a place where animals are held captive and kept away from their natural habitat. Although many people love going to the zoo and being able to see all the different animals, they do not understand that animals should not be held captive for the rest of their life. What if us human being were trapped in cage for all or the rest of our lives? We would not like that, so animals should not be treated that way. The president of the Foundation on Economic Trends, Jeremy Rifkin, wrote an article called “A Change of Heart about Animals”
