Personal and Imaginative Story
I heard a noise, but at first I didn't think anything of it. Then I
heard another noise, this time it was louder and it caught my
attention. Instantly, I awoke and sat up in my bed, I was scared; I
didn't know what that noise could be. I then heard noises of cupboard
opening and became curious to what or who was making these noises.
Immediately I reached for my dressing gown, which was laying on my
dresser and put it on as quitely and discretely as possible, trying
not to disturb what was going on down stairs.
Suddenly I heard a glass smash. I thought to my self that whoever was
in my house is now in the kitchen and searching though my cupboards.
What are they looking for? What's going to happen? Am I going to get
hurt? This question kept repeating in my head over and over. I knew
what I had to do…. my curiosity had taken the best of me, I had to go
down stairs no matter what.
Now I was at the top of my stairs and I knew I had to go down them
quietly, one by one. I could hardly hold on to the railing because my
hands were shaking so badly. I was trying to be as quite as possible

The stairs feel wet and slippery from the leaking of the slide. Im so high up that I'm shivering. I can see the slide from where I'm in line now, and all I see is people enter the slide and then they're gone, if I were to chicken out now I wouldn't be the first. Many people walked back down the stairs but I know I won't be one of them. Looking at it, this slide makes all others look like absolutely nothing. Im now right next to the slide and it looks so frightening that I almost run down the stairs, but I don't. Now, it's my turn, and all that's left is for
Now, I don’t believe much in the extrasensory, but I distinctly remember having a bad, bad feeling when my mother traversed the last step. Whatever this premonition may have been, it had me at my feet and waiting at the bottom of the stairs for a scream I already knew was coming.
Suddenly my mind raced? A window! I prepared to make a run for it. I pulled myself off the ground and began to stand. If only I could get to the window I could make my escape.
