My interest in Electronics blossomed in my high school and it got fortified with my undergrad in it from Aurora’s Scientific and Technological institute. During my under graduation program I learned the various fundamentals of Electronics & Communication Engineering which will provide me with a firm footing for the MS program in ……..University.
I was a part of science expo in my school where I came to witness a prototype of electric motor where electrical energy is converting into mechanical energy by passing current through an electric wire that would rotate around a permanent magnet. From there on, I developed an interest in physics and mathematics. However, the concepts of physics at school level were limited to basic electric circuitry and Newtonian mechanics. This basic interest led me to take up Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as my major subjects in high school. I came across various advanced concepts such as semiconductor devices, amplifiers, logic gates, electricity & electromagnetism etc., of which Semiconductor devices and their wide range of applications fascina...
Electricity is an interesting subject. There is so much you can learn from it, like how our lights turn on or how we make cell phones. This is all a mystery until we finally get a little bit of information in our brains. I've just read two articles, "Energy Story" and "Conducting solutions". I also watched a video called Hands-on Science with Squishy circuits. I learned so much valuable information from these resources.
Various courses like Signal & Systems, Computing Method & Techniques, Electromagnetic Field, Control System, Digital Electronics, Power Electronics, Electrical machines (I & II), Telecommunication Engineering, Semiconductor Physics & device etc. were also covered. In addition, Lab class like Electrical circuit simulation, Electrical machine (I &II), Electrical Circuit (I & II), Electronics (I & II), Microprocessor & Interfacing, Measurement & Instrumentation really sharpen my knowledge of Electrical Engineering. Programming knowledge in C, C++ & MATLAB software also impressed me to take part in the future technical world. Due to strong inclination to research in the future, I am learning Python. Also, I learned in depth about IIR & FIR filter design, DTFT, FFT, Z- transform analysis and its application.
Being the top student in my secondary school (with 85.5%), I got admitted into Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering at MIT, Ujjain. My curriculum enhanced my knowledge in Microprocessors, Digital Signal Processing, and Analytical and Industrial Instrumentation. Having a strong zeal towards Information System and Computer Programming, I have also learned different languages like C, C++, SQL and PL/SQL.
As an engineering student, design, develop and test electrical equipments is the major purpose of all time. In other words, electrical engineer is concerned with using electricity to transmit electric power. In electrical engineering, there are extensive subfields such as power engineering, control system and signal processing. It is also worth to point out the difference between electrical engineering and electronic engineering. According to the research, electronic engineering is a major that deal with the electronic system such as computers and radar, to be more specific, electronic engineers are concerned with using electricity to process information.
A fascination for Science & Technology and keen interest in the ever-growing world of technology motivated me to take up engineering. The power of research and delivering it for the growth of Society is what makes me interested in the technology side of science. I choose to major Computer science Engineering with an intense urge to delve into this challenging field. During my under graduation program I learned the various fundamentals of Computer science Engineering which together with practical course works reinforced my interest.
The knowledge acquired in schools and colleges, I believe is not an education, but the means to it. It is this belief that made me a student to the end of my days, the obvious direction being curiosity to wards exploration.
The mind must never be kept idle because of its tremendous capacity to absorb and learn. After careful consideration of my aptitude, interests and experiences gained while pursuing my under graduation in the field of Computer Science and Engineering, I have decided to pursue my Masters in the field of Computer Science. Being a dynamic and ever evolving field, many new developments are expected and there is immense scope for research on new products and applications. To progress and make a mark in this field, I realize that it is important for me to pursue my Masters from a reputable university. I have always dreamt of taking up research.
I received my commission via OCS in 2002 and was branched into the Field Artillery. I come with knowledge of both Mechanized and Airborne operations. I am truly excited to be able to learn about the Stryker platform. I have also served as a mentor to the Afghan National Army 213th Corps in Bermel and Shkin (CJTF-82), Afghanistan. I have knowledge in this type of mission and will look to contribute any way I can.
Electrical engineering is the major that I am pursuing during my college career. I decided to pursue this major because it is a career, which requires knowledge in other subjects, it is a career, which changes often, and everyday it provides a person with new problems to solve.
I am applying for a Masters in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Solid Mechanics to expand on my study of and experience with materials. I have thoroughly enjoyed studying Materials Science and Engineering as an undergraduate at UCLA. I now look forward to moving into graduate study in a field of engineering with a related, but different perspective. Materials Science and Engineering has allowed me to explore both materials and other fields within engineering, contributing to my strong interest in combining my study of Materials Science and Engineering with Mechanical Engineering. I have completed basic coursework in most areas of engineering, learning statics, thermodynamics, basic programming, and circuit design. This has provided a strong foundation to continue graduate study in other engineering disciplines. I
My ultimate goal in my career is to make a commendable contribution to the computing world either by starting an innovative venture or doing research which would change the dimensions of future computing and the way we perceive the computers. Now I have determined that a dedicated higher study on Computer Science will enable me to aggregate all my previous knowledge & experience on the field and encourage in achieving my career goal. I am looking at Graduate studies to provide me with the required expertise to carry out higher studies.
My fascination towards Electronics N Communication basically developed in the 12th when I took part in a science exhibition. I was then fascinated with the complexities of different structures and their working. The i...
With an evolving world and growing population, environmental engineers are constantly faced with challenges to design and manage systems that help utilize our natural resources without degrading our earth. I want to be faced with these challenges head on, with my passion for the environment and ability to solve unknowns; I am destined to become an environmental engineer.
But I did have an interest in materials. However, mechanical engineering is a very broad field. Mechanical engineering has an area of specialization referred to as “Materials and Manufacturing” [4] It doesn’t focus so heavily on material development and design so much as material selection and the methods of manufacturing parts using those materials. For example, “How do you mass produce carbon fiber parts?” would be a problem that a mechanical engineer of this specialization might set out to solve. At this point I had also had some exposure to electrical engineering, through a Snap Electronics kit and obtaining my Amateur Radio License. Mechanical engineers do take some electrical engineering classes. This gives mechanical engineers an understanding of electrical control systems and electric motors [5], both of which play important roles in machinery
From my perspective, excellent electronic engineers are a group of gifted and imaginative talents who bravely explore and innovate, change the world with passion and innovation. I have always dreamed of becoming one of them. For realizing this dream, I started from China 's Jilin University and then joined The University of Manchester for BEng (Hons) Electronic Engineering to take more advanced professional courses. In UoM, I managed to gain GPA of 4.0. Yet, my pursuit of the dream does not end there, since I plan to apply for M.S. program in Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Carnegie Mellon University, where I can receive the best education among the world.
