My favorite teacher was called Ms. Hammond, and she was my science teacher in High School. She had a pleasing personality, and she was an ideal teacher. She had a good behavior and teaching style. She interacted with the students physically, and mentally. She was very enthusiastic and creative. Patience, tact and a sense of humor because it will help her through the harder times. According to the perception of students, a good teacher must have strong and effective communication skill, ability to motivate students and must have sound knowledge of subjects (Malik et al. 675). A good teacher will regularly update material and method. At the beginning of school, she told the students every discipline they need to follow in her classroom. I consider her as a good teacher, and I believe she had all the qualities of a good teacher supposed to have because she loves teaching, she was supportive and engaged to her students. She was able to relate well to children and enjoy working with others.
Firstly, she had a lot to do with their students' motivational level. She did not lecture the class for the whole period she must mix things up with class activities. She was making sure that every student in her class understood the lesson before they leave the class. She was always in her classroom, ready to talk to me every time I need help. For each lesson, we have to do an experiment, but examine the experiment and write notes in our lab notebook because she would ask each student in the group to explain the procedure steps and the result. She always wanted the students to disinfect the table before and after class because it is a science class the bacteria is everywhere, so we have to make the environment safe and secure. According to Murray, a good teacher helps the child realize her strengths and encourages and challenges the student to learn through those strengths. Her tests were hard and tricky, but if the students truly understood the lessons and paid attention to her lecture they can pass the tests. Several times she complimented me like "Good job, you did well in the tests" and it make me feel good and proud of
