Bodie Glasscock, Personal Statement
My whole life I’ve always been a music lover. From a young age my father had me listening to Rock, and Reggae ( Bob Marley in particular). Dad was a drummer in a rock/reggae band. My whole life has been influenced by my decision to pick up my first of a few instruments. A professional goal of mine is to have a career in music. Either be in a Reggae Band or be a producer or a studio musician. All in all I would like to spread positivity and bring people to dance and feel positive and have good vibes. Sadly, the career of my dreams is not a very easy process. On top of talent, mind and body straining work, and drive to play hours a day, everyday; It also requires a whole lot of luck. Putting yourself in
The intentions of this paper are first to establish a personal statement for the Carney Sandoe institute: a Global Faculty Recruitment, Leadership Search and Strategic Consulting Service for Independent and Like-Kind Schools. With over 35 years of experience, Carney Sandoe is a leader in Independent School recruiting. My personal statement both markets me to Independent schools as well as reveals my stance on educational psychology. The rest of this paper will extrapolate my educational psychology stance by first identifying the context in which I will be an educator and then defining my developed understanding of the role of teacher and learner.
...join so long ago I never really knew I 'd end up here doing what I do. It seems like the common theme for me is seeing something and saying “I can 't do that” then pursuing it until I can. One of my fondest memories is watching someone at the percussion concert play a marimba solo when I was in sixth grade and just looking over at Justin molder and laughing saying “wow I can 't do that” now I do that all the time. I didn 't think I could ever be the leader of a group like this it seemed like too much for me, but now after watching and being in this program and seeing where it could go and what I can do, I want to help take it there. I feel great about next year no matter what happens but I 'm ready to step up, I 'm ready take on whatever I have to to make this year the best year yet. Not just for me but for us all every last one of us in this great family I call home.
One of my future careers are being a NFL player (professional football player) I want to be this because it’s fun and you can hit and tackle people the responsibilities are show respect for team policies and understand your role. If you want to have a good work environment then you have to be on a good team or you have to be really good so you can buy a better work environment. If you want to play football you have to go to college for two or three years or maybe more. The average
Music is a large consumption of my daily life and the artists I listen to have shaped me in some way. Listening to music is one of my most time

It is hard to believe that a single photographer captured this image. The photographer who captured this incredible picture goes by the name of Margaret Bourke-White. According to the caption, this image was taken around 1937 and it depicts 16 African Americans including one white girl that are standing in a line, carrying various personal belongings as if they were leaving to go away somewhere. Each of these individuals standing in line has nice cold weather clothing on and each of them have looks of indifference. You can easily see that these people are not happy at all. These people are the main focus in the image; they are standing in line in every ounce of hope whether it be retrieving clothing or food. The most striking feature of this photo is that they are standing in front of an “American Dream” billboard. The billboard displays a wealthy Caucasian family riding in a car and they each have a look of joy and happiness. The family even has a little dog with his head sticking out of the window as if he is having the time of his life, followed by two children in the back seat wi...
Where I learned how to become a leader through the leadership ensemble within the marching band. Where in my senior and fourth year of marching competitively, I became the Drum Major, and earned the Best Drum Major Award at the Roxbury Marching Band Classic Competition. From marching band I progressed into jazz music, where I became the lead alto saxophonist in the top jazz band at my school during my junior and senior year. I was also one of three saxophonists in the top band at my school. I picked up the clarinet, the flute, and the soprano saxophone on my way through high school, and have played all three as well in my performing ensembles. I played in the pit orchestra of the theater production of “All Shook Up”, and was the principal saxophonist at my high school. Too be short, I am very involved in all things music in the past and currently. Band and music have been a place for me to rely on, something that brings me joy when sad. Allows me to express myself through sounds and through instruments. It is truly a talent and a hobby that I hope to continue through college and through life because of the joy it brought me and creative outlet it was throughout my
I have always been fascinated by the many arts. Around September of last year, I discovered a show that had to do with dancing and singing, which caused me to have a slight interest in the former. In November, my best friend showed me a band that is talented in dancing, and this group has fueled my curiosity. Furthermore, I have already taken a few steps towards learning their dances. I aspire to accomplish the ability to dance because of this group, I am trying to learn the choreography to their songs, and I want to perform in front of people who enjoy watching others dance.
At a young age, I discovered my passion for the arts division. My parents put me in studio dance lessons at the age of four. I have competed and participated in different dance teams and placed at the state level in high school. Dance is a huge part of my life, and even though I am no longer a member of a dance team, I still move to the beat of the music when I’m having a rough day. Dance is not my only escape from a stressful day, music is something that I require in my daily routine because it’s my relaxing and focusing time. I enjoy playing the guitar, playing the ukulele, and singing. I have a desire to learn many different

The problem with my dreams, however, is that neither of the things I want to do are easy. It’s not simple to be an actress because so many things go into the entertainment business, and traveling requires money and transportation. What am I to do in those situations? How do I plan to get to where I want to go? I plan to put myself out there. Auditions, casting calls, maybe even th...
In the future, I would love to pursue a music career. Writing music, and singing, has always been a great passion and talent of mine. For now, I’m happy volunteering at a nearby hospital with a friend of mine.
Music has absolutely been an enormous part of my life and who I am. However,
It is clear that professional gaming is a true profession in this modern age. However, if somebody is willing to overcome the challenges of short career life, unstable income and demanding training along with the other complexities of a professional gamer, they will make it far in the professional gaming scene. The scene has expanded and there are tens of thousands professionals and probably a few million aspiring to be so. So what are the odds of winning the big bucks?
My dream job in the future would be professional football player. I have loved the game of football since I was a little kid because it’s a good sport and you can tackle the player and catch and do anything in the sport as long as you follow the rules. The colleges that I’m looking forward to go to are UNC, Oregon, or Appalachian State.
