From this class I know what is social worker. The social worker is follow the values, use cases, groups, communities, administrative and other professional methods to help institutions and others to realize their potential, to coordinate social relations, to solve and prevent social problems, promote social justice professional workers. Before I take this class, I did not know there had a social worker job around us, and I did not think anyone could help others with less remuneration. However, after I talked with a social worker who I did the interview project. She told me she loves her job, that was fine when she worked with the little people. The social worker should accept the service object from the heart, regard them as important partners in the process of work, and should keep the attitude of tolerance and respect to the value preference, habit and belief of the clients. It is not because of the physiology, psychology, race, Sex, age, occupation, social status, beliefs and other factors they have any discrimination, but cannot refuse to provide social services to clients for these reasons. However, I do not think anyone can do the service object from heart. One case was when I did the interview project, I called a social worker and tried to make an appointment with her. After I told she why I called her, she sounds like angry to said “NO!” and hang up the phone. I was shocked, because in my impression the social worker should be mild person. I harbored feelings of apprehension and tried to call the second social worker. The second social worker was more friendly and asked me if she need wore the formal clothes.
