In order to successfully reflect upon a development of a person, the background history is crucial. As once mentioned by actor William Smith, it’s impossible to fully understand a person until his story is known. My first name is Dmytro, which comes from a Greek goddess of fertility – Demetra. My second name is Khrapenko, which was given to me by my father. I would like to take this opportunity to personally introduce myself. Since my first memory, I remember being a very active child both physically and socially. Fortunately, both physical and social activity of them are interconnected by a relation of direct proportionality, always complementing each other. From an early age my high physical activity motivated my parents to enroll me in a sport club. Since that moment, sport became a very important part of my life. At the age of four I learned how to …show more content…
One of the subjects that has helped me to develop this curiosity is history. It has always been one of my favorite subjects and during the last years has offered me a good understanding through multiple examples of the most important factors that define a nation as successful. Just as Karl Marx said that in order to gain control over a country one should attack its economy, a well-developed financial system has always been the essence of prosperity. Thus, finance and the entire banking system became the first branch of the unknown economic universe that triggered my thirst for knowledge in this field. Even without having too much experience in this domain, it seemed to me that it was the main pillar of the economy of a country that controlled its finances and was responsible for the success or failure of the national budget. Understanding of that allowed me to see the connections between all the banking branches and practically showed me why a successful manager/bank leader is the one who had once been in his employee’s
helps us to behave within society rules. With that being said I believe it encourages people to have a sense of moral beliefs along with guidance. Which leads me to have faith that people are capable of separating there right from wrongs. Making themselves aware and in control of their own futures. For instants when I am faced with a difficult situation I know that it is up to me to make the choice not only to benefit myself, but to be concerned of those around me as well. It also ties in with the way we act, this is known as behaviorism the claim on minds and/or mental events in which they can be expressed in terms of behaviors (“Ontology”) studied by
Growing up for me some would say it was rather difficult and in some ways I would agree. There have been a lot of rough times that I have been through. This has and will affect my life for the rest of my life. The leading up to adoption, adoption and after adoption are the reasons my life were difficult.
A couple of weeks ago, the class was assigned a personal narrative essay and the prompt was to tell an interesting story of a specific experience that changed how you acted, thought, or felt. To be honest, I was awfully excited to write this essay because talking about myself is the easiest thing to write about sometimes. However, deciding what experience to talk about was challenging because I have already experienced so much in my seventeen years of being alive from dislocating my hip when I was three, to seeing my grandfather die in front of my eyes, from almost tripping off of the trail on the Grand Canyon, to meeting band members at an airport. Writing this essay brought me many challenges, I did not know what topic to
Throughout the years certain paradigms have become a big part of my life. Some paradigms are overwhelmingly difficult to change whiles other are long forgotten and overcome. I try new thinking patterns as often as I can, but sometimes it takes a while for me to get rid of my old ways and get used to my new ways. The following paradigms are the hardest to change.
In life, a person experiences different types of situations that bring forth certain emotions and behaviors. Oftentimes, it benefits people if they try to look inside themselves to discover why they act a certain way during various moments of their lives. In this essay, I will be investigating my own reactions to life events and discovering certain positive elements that should be encouraged or any negative aspects of my behavior that need to be changed.

Development is the process of growing, forming or creating into something slightly more advanced than before. Development starts during conception and ends during death. Development consists of three developmental domains which are, physical development, cognitive development, and psychosocial development. Each of which involve some form of growing or changing including the changes of moods throughout the lifespan. The Nature versus Nurture concept are issues that are found in stages of development as well. Nature which relates to the behavior that is inherited by genetics, and Nurture which relates to the behavior that is inherited or learned from the environment. With every developmental change or growth in a person’s life the mood of the
As Christians look to further their relationship with Christ, growth needs to happen. As growth happens, Christians become closer to God and can grow in him. Without growth, there is nothing that will allow us desiring a deeper relationship with our God. Growth in both our faith and our personal growth allows us to see the different ways in how God can continue to transform our lives and draw closer to him. The Bible consists of many different stories in which God revealed himself to different people to show his power. The Bible also provides us with ways to live our lives and provide us with guidelines that give us a clearer path of who God wants us to be as his children. This will allow us to walk closer with him providing us with a better chance of growing spiritually.
I ended up contacting 3 of my family members, and I told them to be brutality honest with me. I also told them whatever they said to me would not hurt my feelings. The four people I contacted where my brother, mom and dad. My dad said that my strengths where that I’m independent and I like to work on my own, that I was very determined to be successful, and that I am very driven to be the best at everything. She said my weaknesses where time management since I sometimes put off homework till last minute, that processes where hard for me to follow because I like to do things my way, he also said that I am very needy for approval after I have completed something. My mom said that I am a hard worker and feel the need to compete tasks fast, that I am a very loyal friend, and I am very determined to succeed in life. She said for my weaknesses that I can sometimes be selfish when it comes to work because I care about me succeeding more then others, she also said that me being a loyal friend is also a weakness because I care about them as much as I care about myself, and finally she said that I can sometimes get distracted easily. According to my brother my strengths are that I am very studious when it comes to school and work, also that I am very determined in life,

Our personalities are what distinguish us from each other beyond our appearance; without them, we would all behave and react in the same way. Personality is the reason we are outgoing or introverted, persistent or blaze, and anxious or calm. We each have different levels of these competing characteristics that make us unique. But why are personalities so varied? Personality is determined by an array of factors from genetic and biological to the personal experiences and decisions we have faced from the day we are born. The complexity of our personalities cannot be simply explained, and for this reason there exists many different theories of how it’s developed and personality is still deeply under study. I went into this subject with an open-mind
Writing a self-reflection is never an easy task for me, because I do not like to talk about myself. They are multiple reasons behind this behaviour, one can argue that it might has to do with a low self-esteem, but that will be a simplistic explanation without the necessary background information to make an in-depth analysis of this behaviour.

The development of self starts at a very young age. When a preschooler is asked how are they different from other children, they usually look at their self concept. Self concept is their identity, of their set of beliefs about what they are like as individuals. Most preschoolers give inaccurate statements about their self concept. They usually overestimate their skills and knowledge. Preschool-age children also begin to develop a view of self that reflects their particular culture considers the self. An example of this would be to look at the different views as self between the Western culture and the Asian culture. Western cultures believe that an individual should seek attention of others by standing out and making one's needs known. The Asian perspective suggest that individuals should attempt to blend in with everyone else. The varying views lead to differences in how children begin to view the self during the preschool years. Asian societies tend to have a collective orientation, promoting the notion of interdependence. Western societies develop an independent view of the self, reflecting an individualistic orientation that emphasizes personal identity and uniqueness of the individual. Preschoolers' self concepts are a result not only of how their parents treat them, but also of their society and their exposure to the philosophy of the culture in which they are being reared.
Personal Development is a lifelong process that involves the assessment of current skills and talents and the enhancement of oneself based on that assessment which then leads to the realization of goals and an improved quality of life. To be able to assess yourself, you need to be able to reflect on your past which helps you to understand the attitudes you have developed and the foundation that you will be building your life on. Also, you have to reflect on your present to see if there’s room for improvement and reflect on your future so that you can achieve your aspirations.
