I have taken many roads to where I stand today in life. Some werent easy but they have passed and modelled me into the young man I am today. The journey to my self discovery isnt over theres much more to go. I wasnt alone on this journey i had family and friends who helped me along the way. I have a certain place that i am in life right now and what i am in life right now. Right now in life I am a high school senior who is hopefully going on to college next year. Getting to this point in my life I needed a lot of motivation and detication in my part. I started getting good grades when I was young so I was set to a high standard in my house. I am just an average teen who is trying to figure out what I want to do with my life and how to overcome …show more content…
What I am today is because of the life lessons i was taught and always remebering to stay humble. Asking for help when needed is not a babyish move, its a character builder which shows that if a person needs help and asks for it, means that they are motivated to move foward. Which i belive i am. I am at a point in my life that therers no turning back. I am in zenith right now and theres no brining me down. I am happy with everything and how everything has evolved within my life that theres no brining me down. I am happy with the way life has turned out and is turning out, I’ve always been that person that goes with the flow and takes everything one step at a time and my life has given me that oppurtunity to take things one step at a time and breath through each situatuion and take it a breath at a time. Me getting to this place in my life or in other words, how did i get to this place in my life is really simple. Trust my instict and always listen to what others have to say to you. Listening to others lowers your ego and makes your weakness a strength. Which ultimatley makes you a better
In a world where every individual desires to acquire money, prosper, and make a life for themselves nevertheless no part of my being aspires any of it. My life's work wants nothing more than to help other people because at the end of the day, my long list of people I have helped will be worth more than your money. The way I grew up, I would have been the same way as everyone else, but it was with the experiences I have gone through along with my favorite movie, book, quote, historical figure, and my very own personal hero which all single handedly helped mold me to the person I am glad to be today.
This was one of the main aspects that brought me to this crossroad that I am at now and that I faced at the beginning of my college career. When I decided to go to college I wanted to be a doctor, so that is how I started out. Looking at the challenges ahead of me on that path I did some research and decided to change paths and pursue a career in Health Services. In health services I can still help people the way I like and it also fits into my plan for myself. With what makes me myself I look at the crossroad I am at now and all I think to do is to keep moving forward and straight. Looking back is a different me and going left or right provides many new challenges, so forward is my only option. Even though I will run into many other crossroads and challenges on my current path, I feel the way I am put together I can overcome anything that comes my
This basically sums up how my life is right now. Am very happy with what I have and what I have learned through my life. Am satisfied with the blessing I have receive up to know. According to Earl & Carol Diener, People who reports positive satisfaction may say as much about people as about the target of satisfaction (1996). I know that many time we may encounter with hard moment, but the point of it is to analyze what lead us to that and learn from it. As, I mention on my serious introduction, am married to my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful boys who every day fills my days with happiness and push me to become more of a better person. I try to the max to enjoy every second and every minute of my life, with the people I love and that gives me
As a student in her sophomore year, I am still learning about what I can do and what I want to do. Although I am young, my mother always told me that it is never too early to start thinking about the future, which is why it is an honor to be able to apply for the membership of being part of National Honor Society. I have always loved challenges no matter what the result because nothing is equal to the experience of trying. I take the things I have learned from my past experiences and use them as a guide to help me in the future. I haven't ever once stopped to give up if I encountered an obstacle, but rather embraced it and thought of ways to overcome them.
Life is packed with adventures, some people enjoy a tranquil life, while others experience exciting events throughout their lives. Life events, together make up the journey that everyone begins when they are born. Essentially a journey is a long and often difficult process of personal change and development. An individual has to go through a journey, a perennial quest to resolve one’s apparent contradictions.
I see my life as a series of experiences that build upon one another and, through my hard work and determination, lead to overall long and short term goals that I have set for myself. There are thousands upon thousands of things that affect my life both directly and indirectly all of which have varying degrees of influence on me. Three areas of my life that most certainly have had a profound impact on me are scholarship, spiritual formation, and service. These three areas have affected me positively, and have motivated me to pursue higher levels of education, and have challenged me to set my lifetime goals higher. Though I'm not exactly sure where I will end up in life, I know that if I let my academics, spirituality, and service guide me, I will end up somewhere that I want to be.
I really been focusing on how to let anger go and this is how I did, I weight lifted and then I sang, I played my saxophone and clarinet, I let a friend help me. I am a strong independent person that refuses to take any harsh comments or bad looks from anyone. I will stand up for what I believe in. This is where I am at in my life. This is my story,.
I always try my hardest in every subject. I take the responsibility of my classes extremely seriously because I consider schoolwork to be my top priority. I also have made the honor roll multiple times. I believe that all my hard work and dedication has paid off as I am nominated for the National Honors Society. Along with responsibility of school, I also have the responsibility of fulfilling my parent’s dreams. I have seen my parents work hard their entire life so they could to make my future better. Their dream is to see me becomes a doctor one day. Ever since high school started, I put forth my best effort to succeed in the future and hopefully make their dream come true. The responsibilities given to me by my teachers and parents have pushed me to keep on working and get things done on time. As I live up to more and more my responsibilities and promises, I have gained the trust of my parents, teacher, and friends. I think for a person to be truly be successful, honestly is important in academics and other areas of life along with dedication to accomplish your
Well, who really am I? Am I rude, strict or obnoxious? Or am I loving and caring? Think and know me better.
It was not until a few years ago, I knew I want to be a business owner/entrepreneur. Although, I have a sense of what I wanted to do in life I do not know what my life purpose is. I always thought of “life purpose” as something you would contribute to the world whether in a small or big way to make it better. Now I see it as a reason for living whether it is changing the world or someone’s life. Therefore, my purpose in life is to help others achieve their own goals. Make them feel like they have a purpose in life. I want to be someone they look up to not because of power and money, but because I helped them become better leaders. Just how I look up to my mother as a leader, I want those surrounding me to feel the same about me. Which I will accomplish with the help of my three core values; family, trust, and
Not knowing who I was for many years led to a series of bad decisions and choices. However I began to notice that I had a gift, a talent of making others feel good and found myself wanting to be an emboldening model for others. Often my friends and family looked to me for advice and answers. I later realized that it was not about giving advice but helping them find the answer that are locked away in their subconscious mind. Helping them discover who they were; the irony I discovered who I was, my life purpose, my calling.
For most of my High school experience I've been okay with achieving only mediocrity. Poor grades, low paychecks, and an inactive social life was the essence of my existence, and I was absolutely fine with this. Only until major problems started occurring did I decided I must reinvent myself if I ever want to achieve any type of success. Quite often does life randomly get difficult, and as hardship and change is inevitable it will occur many times throughout a person's life. The beauty of this is that people tend to mature, and even grow as a person.
...complished and where I am at now, and I am proud. My friends are my rest stop. They provide me with the motivation I need to keep pushing forward when things become tough. So that I can look back on where I've come from, and look at where I am, and be satisfied.
My life is a mixture of moments, some happy moments and others not so much, but regardless, these moments have made me the person that I am today and I don’t regret anything that had happen. I consider myself a strong, and a very determined person, I have dreams to fill the world and I am willing to do the necessary efforts to attain those dreams. My motivations I inherit from my family, more specifically my father that I love so much; I have always
I never really thought about where my life was going. I always believed life took me where I wanted to go, I never thought that I was the one who took myself were I wanted to go. Once I entered high school I changed the way I thought. This is why I chose to go to college. I believe that college will give me the keys to unlock the doors of life. This way I can choose for myself where I go instead of someone choosing for me.
