Recommended: Effects of optimism, hope on mental health
I may have more than a thousand people surrounding me at the moment, but no one is as important to me as Tyler Joseph. I have never cared and appreciated someone’s life as much as Tylers’. Tyler is the singer in the two person band, TwentyOnePilots. This band has done so much for me, it is very difficult to describe. Tyler has mainly made me feel overwhelmingly important, he makes me feel optimistic when needed, he gives me hope every day of my life, but most important of all, he keeps me alive. Tyler is one of the only people that can make me instantly smile. Just the feeling I get when I simply see a picture of him smiling makes me feel very warm and fuzzy inside. His smile is one of the most genuine, pure smiles I have ever seen. His lyrics radiate sense of hope towards toward the audience every single time he performs, along with the drummer. There is many days where one can feel down in the dumps, but he can easily fix that just with the motive of his lyrics. It’s as if you were to be lifted from quicksand, they are the ones who reach out to help. His strong attempts to make the people surrounding him optimistic, hopeful really reach out to me and many others. He is loved by many for that. …show more content…
Tyler does not only make me feel happy and hopeful, but he makes me feel overwhelmingly important as well.
This feeling comes from how much I relate to him and the content he produces. His raw, passionate, energetic attitude on stage makes me feel a fuse of emotions just like him. He tells us in his lyrics that he battles many demons in his mind just like most of us. Tyler deeply knows the feelings and emotions a human gets so he makes lyrics based on that. He knows that most of battle our own demons just like he did for the longest time, and still does to this day. He shows his fans love and how much they matter to him in a variety of ways and I truly appreciate that from
him. Tyler has made me feel many emotions, but most important of all he’s kept me alive. I once felt like I was hanging onto the last thread of my life all because of demons in my head. I felt completely numb for so long, but he taught me how to feel again. Simply how to live, keep on going no matter what the case may be. He has been there for me for a long time now. Though he has no idea of my existence he has helped me out mentally and emotionally through very tough times in my life. It’s as if he wraps a cozy blanket around me when I mostly needed. I have never related to someone as much as Tyler. I feel blessed to even be part of the “Skeleton Clique”. This twenty six year old, lighthearted man has drastically changed my point of view in many things involving my life and I will always be grateful for that. My goal is to one day thank him for that face to face because he deserves to get that warm feeling inside. He shows that it is okay to be sad at times because after all “it’s the few, the proud, and the emotional”.
Most of my kindergarten to fourth grade years were spent in Peoria. We were a mixed family; my mother, sister, and I, with Gary Toubeau (stepfather), Tyler (stepbrother), and Michelle (stepsister). Gary had only seen a mixed family, whenever he has to choose between his children or his step children. Tyler abused this and the fact that he was the oldest, usually resulting in Tyler’s way many times. Michelle was different from the other two. Michelle, also known as, “Showie,” would spend more time with her “mixed family members” rather than her “real family.” One day, my mom had enough of Gary’s abusive treatment, when he actually physically touched her (as if he were going to hit her). The divorce ended bitterly, as Gary had found a
In Tyler Perry’s early life, he went through many challenges such as the indissoulable of abuse during his childhood years to attempted suicide as a child, however that did not stop him from chasing his dream of becoming a well-known film producer, director, actor, and author. He also became homeless in the 1990’s when he used up all of his savings to start his first stage play named, “I know that I been changed”. He went through this phase for six years from living on the streets to living in motels where drug addicts lived. Tyler Perry did not finish High school, but obtained his GED. Tyler Perry did not let his setbacks keep him down, he was
For many of us, one of the most accurate and effective ways to express the feelings that really matter to us is through music. We don’t only grow to attached to songs that are catchy, but also those with lyrics that we can relate to. It is not uncommon to feel like sometimes, artists can convey the way we feel better than we could ourselves. The storybook-like lines you read at the start of this page are a collection of lyrics
In conclusion to this analysis of these characters they go together where the resolve is Jack coming to the conclusion that he had truly taken his life threw a complete twist and in all seriousness didn’t want to experience being Tyler. What was seen there this analysis that Tyler was a real person and Jack was very jealous and everyone around wanted to be like him. Jack eventually grew as a man and wanted to use everything he experience to help mold him as an individual. They way in which he commanded at the end of the movie by shooting himself giving complete orders to the guys in project mayhem that this is something that Jack would have done. To us as an audience you can tell that they he has grown through the movie and took complete ownership.
The narrator meets Tyler and realizes quickly that Tyler is everything he is not. The narrator is disappointed in his life when he compares it to Tyler’s. “I am nothing in the world compared to Tyler. I am helpless. I am stupid, and all I do is want and need thin...
So what do Tyler and I have in common besides similar views on relationships? Quite a bit, actually. Tyler was raised by his mother. His father abandoned them early in his life and only had sporadic contact with his son. I, too, was raised by my mother. She divorced my father early in my life, and he made little effort to further his involvement in my life from that point forward. " If you're male . . . your father is your model for God. And if you never know your father, if your father bails out or dies or is never at home, what do you believe about God?" Also from Fight Club. As you can see, I really connected with this novel.
The main themes of the story are loneliness, materialism, and freedom from society. Tyler was created because of the lack of connection the narrator had with the people around him. The narrator was lonely and attended so many support groups because of it. He was not rejected at the support groups because the members thought he was sick just like they were. Materialism is a reoccurring theme as the narrator mentions how he has worked his entire life for the Ikea items in his apartment. He tried to fill the void in his life by buying worthless, meaningless stuff. People spend too much time working for things they do not need. The narrator comes to the conclusion that, “You are not your job or your possessions.” Only once a person realizes that can he or she finally let go and start living. “It’s only after you’ve lost everything,” Tyler says, “that you’re free to do anything.” In order to be free, we must not care about the stuff we own. Our whole lives are spent working to pay for stuff. If we did not have stuff to pay for, we would not have to work as hard and our time could be spent doing something more meaningful.
Primarily, Tyler had to deal with a large amount of hardships in his own life. Instead
The results Tyler received from the Rorschach Inkblot Test explain him fairly well, with just a few surprises here and there. The first personality trait Tyler expressed in his test was imagination. He has the ability to see animals or other objects moving proving he has a brain for imagination. A fine example of this is in picture #2 when his response was a lizard walking through a puddle. His responses also indicate that he shows emotion toward others as well as about others or things. The test shows his emotion because he used color to explain what he saw. The color affected his thoughts and made the images seem clearer of what they exactly were. Tyler gave a few negative responses, or in other words violent responses. An example of this
Persuasive, confident, intelligent, the ability to make quick critical decisions, these are all attributes everyone looks for in a leader and what can be seen in Tyler Durden is no different. When it comes to the character of Tyler Durden, there are many facets of his personality. Like a diamond Tyler is alluring, brilliant, he has luster, and character. The character of Tyler Durden truly defines the story of Chuck Palahniuk’s, Fight Club. All throughout Fight Club, every single character Tyler comes into contact with idolizes him. Why is he so alluring? What makes Tyler so attractive? His outlook on life, possibly. Tyler’s ultimate goal is to achieve self-actualization, where he is fully aware of who he is, and what purpose he serves in life. This draws on the significance that almost everyone wants to be self-actualizing, to realize one’s true potential, the pinnacle of what someone is meant to be.
This is how Tyler deals with alot of his situations and how he learns from his mistakes. Tyler was just an ordinary high schooler until he became popular. As you can see Tyler becoming popular didnt really turn out all that well. I think that Tyler learned the lesson to not take being popular for granite. He thought that since he was popular he could start to mess with Chips friends and he could yell at his parents more and skip family dinners. As you know, this did not turn out good for Tyler and he paid the price of being blamed for a lot of things and not having a good family
meet Scooter. I admire the talent and dedication it takes to learn how to play instrument and it is inspiring that Justin learned to play all these instruments without and instructor.
Personally, I absolutely love Taylor Swift. As a fellow singer/songwriter, I am envious of her ability to be so poetically honest because that is what I struggle with most when songwriting. I am always afraid that something I write will end up sounding silly or stupid, which ultimately prevents me from creating something amazing. But fear has surely never stopped Taylor Swift, and I think that’s what makes an artist like her so special. She openly writes about what she’s going through, and she doesn’t care about what other people might think about her. Whenever I listen to one of Swift’s songs, I can’t help but feel like it could have been written specifically for me. It’s almost as if she takes my thoughts and puts them into words, which is quite a valuable talent if you ask me. In fact, for every big milestone in my teenage life, there has been a Taylor Swift song that I could rel...
After the show had ended, I felt slightly empty. I had waited years and months for that night, and it was over in the blink of an eye. Although I was sad that the show was over, I felt completely content. Now, when I hear their songs, I get to remember what it felt like to hear the band perform them live. I can watch the videos and try to wrap my mind around how it was real. Going to my first concert was an unparalleled experience that I will always cherish. The ambiance, the band’s performance and the unity the audience
Throughout my entire life I’ve always been someone who constantly worries. It’s difficult for me to ever feel content with myself and my surroundings. Two years ago I discovered a song that I believe truly reflects who I am and captures the essence of how I feel on a daily basis. ‘’Ride’’ by Twenty-One Pilots emphasizes the aspects of my personality that I struggle with the most. The song beings to explain how Tyler Joseph, the vocalist, is constantly trying to find
