I was born in Guatemala in a city called, called Guatemala City. Life in Guatemala is hard which is why my parents brought me into the United States when I was eight months old. Some of the things that makes life in Guatemala hard is the violence. However, Guatemala has plenty of hard working men, women, and children who usually get forced to begin working as soon as they are able to walk. However, unlike many other countries, Guatemala has a huge crime rate. I care about the innocent hard working people that live in Guatemala and receive letters, threatening to be killed if they do not pay a certain amount of money at a certain amount of time.
You should know about the Bahamas because it will be a great place to take your family on a vacation.
As my father and I finally fit the statue of the little Virgin Mary in the back of the car, it was time to get on the road. I could already taste the guavas from my great grandfather’s ranch. Feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin. The smell of my aunt’s cooking. Hearing the excitement of my great grandmother’s voice. I wanted to be there already, be in the beautiful country of Mexico. My thoughts wandered as we left my house. How much welcome, love, and the sadness of leaving was going to happen. It was too soon to find out.
This past summer, my family and I went on a cruise to the Bahamas. We had just docked at the second port, Nassau, and were preparing to exit the gigantic ship named the Carnival Fantasy. Once we got to the city, I noticed it was bustling with people of all different backgrounds and cultures. The roads were narrow and some even hilly. I remember coming to the conclusion that a lot of people in the Bahamas must have road rage what from the blaring car horns I could hear around every corner. My family and I were walking along the sidewalk, glancing into shops as we passed them. The weather was unbearably hot, but growing up in South Carolina allowed my family and I to push onward with our adventure. The sun burn on my back started to pulsate in pain any time the sunlight hit it, so we decided to stick to the side of the buildings that provided shade.
El Salvador is a gorgeous country with an interesting culture and history that would be a great place to visit.

Coming to Haiti I did not know what to expect. As soon as I stepped off the plane I was filled with mixed feelings on weather I would be able to appreciate and take in an environment that I have never stepped foot in. The air smelled different, the pace felt slower than America and the people appeared to have a communal camaraderie that I have never seen before. The sad part is, my mind was conditioned to expect Haiti to be a sloven third world country, however my time here has proven quite the opposite. I look forward to the adventures and experience awaiting to come.
Have you ever considered taking a trip outside of the United States? If yes, let me take you to a country called Costa Rica. Now the reason I say Costa Rica is because it was a country I had no prior knowledge about, I did not even know where it was located until I did my research. After looking into this country a little deeper I wanted to know more about it like; the general overview, a brief history, the geography, the political system, the economic system, and lastly the cultures and subcultures of Costa Rica. Once I was able to dig deeper I found out that Costa Rica is a very interesting country with fun and exciting adventures waiting like hiking next to a volcano at night, rappelling down a waterfall, or ever soaking in a hot spring.
Is Nicaragua interesting to people to travel to? Or is Nicaragua too small for some? Nicaragua is one of the cool, different countries because of its volcanoes and some of its foods, too. Are the volcanoes one of the main attractions for most tourists or is it the foods or the location? I believe Nicaragua is interesting because of its history, geography, and culture.
My little sister cried as she said goodbye to my parents before liftoff, this would be our first time traveling to our “homeland”, Mexico. We would meet the strangers we called family and embrace the culture. I strained my neck to find a familiar face, cupping my hands to form a telescope I spotted my Grandmother. Dragging my heavy bag I side hugged her and awkwardly shook my relatives’ hands.
1. I would like to visit Jamaica. I would like to visit Jamaica because I love Jamaican food.
Every day our host cooked us a delicious breakfast. Each morning we were awakened by the smell of Nicaraguan coffee and some type of Nicaraguan bread and tropical fruit. She also cooked us lunch and supper. While there, I got to try everything from fresh Nicaraguan seafood, to fried plantains. This trip, I learned that
If I had no limits as to how much I could spend on a vacation, I would take a trip to different cities in Mexico. My dads side of the family is Latino and many of my relatives live in Mexico. My month long trip would consist of a variety of cities I have visited before and others that I would be visiting for the first time. I would take advantage of Mexicos rich culture by participating in the peoples customs and getting as much experience as possible. The trip would be very meaningful because my heritage is something that I am very proud of and passionate about.

It is my dream to visit Italy with my family one day.
