For the past three years, I haven’t go to many restaurants. I’m not the person who really enjoy dining in the restaurant, I usually take out the food or just eat at home. I believe eat at home is more healthy and more preiswert, and I don’t really like loud environment. But for this time, my experience at The Noodle was completely changed my mind.
The restaurant I went to was called The Noodle, it is a Vietnamese restaurant. The location of this restaurant is at 2336 South Wentworth Ave, in the Chinatown. Which is pretty simply to get there, only took me about ten minutes by walking. The reason why I choosing this place is I never try the Vietnamese food, is kind of a new food to me, and it is the only Vietnamese restaurant that open at Chinatown.

It’s really simple to understand and it is different than the traditional restaurant signboard. It made me feels so fresh and different. When I got closer to the restaurant, there is a black canopy installed above the windows and door. It also could be a signboard, and it still very simple just a word PHO, but really conspicuous. It super easy to understand that they’re good at or the main food is the pho. It’s not a big restaurant just a small place, the first impression of this place gave to me is simple, quiet, and clean. I think the design of this restaurant plays a really important role, just like a bottle of water clean and simple. This really makes me feels more comfortable dining …show more content…
The waiter brings to me a cup of ice water and the menu, the main course is most about pho and other Vietnamese food, but they also have Thai food. I order the food that my friend recommended to me, a small size steak pho, two Vietnamese spring roll, and ban xeo (Vietnamese pancake). The food wasn’t taking so long, just about five to seven minutes, I think it because they’re not busy. The first food come is the pho, it’s a small size but actually is a really big bowl. The thing that surprised me is, it also come with a plate of veg (soybean sprouts, mint leaf and a piece of lime,) that you can put in you noodle soup. It’s weird combination but when you taste it, it actually taste good and flavorful . This kind of like Chinese noodle soup but it is the rice noodle. The spring rolls also pretty good, it just different than the Chinese spring roll, the Vietnamese spring roll crust was made by rice and it is the transparent color. You can see the stuffing inside the spring roll, also, dip it into the specially made souse it just very tasty. Compare the pancake with the other two dishes, it’s just a little ordinary, nothing special and nothing
After eating at two different Chinese restaurant with the same delicious mouth watering food, I have came to realize that there are many contributing factors that makes each of these restaurants different in their own ways. In determining which restaurant is the best for you, there are some major factors that can alter your decision as we take into consideration the pros and cons of each based on your personal necessity. Many people who eat out would really consider things such as if the food tastes good, the cost, a friendly environment, and good service. The most important thing to always remember is if the restaurant is suitable for you. Although some similarities do exist between P.F Changes and Pei Wei, there is many more difference that sets each of these Chinese restaurants apart from each other.
One quality that is involved in a restaurant is the atmosphere and the positive energy it gives off. Considering the Western theme, they have the restaurant well decorated from the entrance, to the place where you sit. The walls are painted with tumbleweeds on them, with great lighting that allows you to see, and not go blind. The plates and silverware are very nice, as is the food that goes into them.
Adding all these factors together, it paints a picture of this New Chinatown that is set in its ways when it comes to the food they eat and prepare. The absence of a farmers’ market or community garden does not seem to matter much, as the availability of typical Asian food is more than adequate to this community.
One key design principle of this establishment was of a casual sit-in dining restaurant opposed to being seated with a server and menus, a person must order from the front. This cuts down on the time it takes a family to wait, settle in, wait, and then order off or a menu. Also the restaurant is spacious and has a lot of seating allowing for a rush of people with no problem. Another key design that governed that effectiveness of this process what the way the kitchen was mostly exposed and in the front. If you were sitting close to the front you could watch your food be prepared. I’m sure the cooks feel the extra pressure being under the watchful eye of the people whom the food belongs to. Another design principle that governs the effectiveness of the process in Jason’s Deli is the menu itself. The menu is pretty diverse but the one common denominator is that the food is recognized as healthy and made from the freshest ingredients possible. Finally I would add the self-servicing drink station is another key design principle because this cuts down on the time it take to wait for a waitress for a drink refill (if this were a formal restaurant).
Fresh ingredients are a vital part of Cantonese cuisine. The dishes that are prepared are cooked in the absolute minimum time possible. Seafood such as fish goes from the tank to the table in a short amount of time that sometimes they are served while the fish is still alive (Huffington Post; 2014). It is called Ying Yang fish. It is a great delicacy in Cantonese cuisine.
The meat has a great fresh taste and beats out their fast food competition. The waiters were so friendly and knowledgeable. They were also patient and very respectful when taking down orders. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the happy hour is one of the best worldwide. The food was also wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. I especially enjoyed the milkshakes, I would consider those irresistible. The best thing about the restaurants’ service, is the great value for such a low price. I highly recommend this restaurant, because you will have such a great time while enjoying your delicious meal at such a reasonable price. This is a family oriented restaurant. They actually give the kids some type of electronic device to operate on while they are waiting for their

A calm crisp breeze circled my body as I sat emerged in my thoughts, hopes, and memories. The rough bark on which I sat reminded me of the rough road many people have traveled, only to end with something no one in human form can contemplate.
It won a local award, the Golden Foodie, for best Asian cuisine in 2016. The restaurant menu pricing is moderate, and they also have a full bar. The owner's’ concern
At one point everyone makes at least one wrong decision that can either, have a small impact in their life or can change it completely. In literature most characters have their roles planned out, and follow a specific role, for example the antagonist, the protagonist, antihero, and tragic hero. A tragic hero has five elements, they have a noble statue, usually in the terms of royalty or power; a tragic flaw, an example can be pride, or arrogance; free choice, the time they decide to do something that is not the best thing to do, the tragic hero can talk before they think, or make decisions that only benefit themselves; excessive punishment, when they receive their punishment for the choice they made, but can be a bit too dramatic, like death, or watching their life come apart; and finally increased awareness, when the character realizes what they did wrong, it can
Many cultures have contrasting ways of preparing meals and showing polite manners at the dinner table. The chinese culture is very diverse from most cultures. The short story Fish Cheeks by Amy Tan shows great examples of these two main topics. Many of their traditional foods are massively influenced by their cultures diversity and geography.

The prawn wrapped in crispy rice noodles was a great way to start and for the main course, the Thai Barbecue Curried Chicken and papaya salad was a good option as well. An interesting experience at the restaurant is that they have a Rice Master who helps guests choose the type of rice to have with their main course. Saffron offers four types of rice to accompany the meal and each will bring a complete different fragrance and taste to the dish. The options were the green panadan rice, white jasmine fragrant rice, brown rice, and the restaurant’s namesake, the yellow saffron rice. Overall it was a pleasant dining
The hosts come to our table and escort us to the buffet. The buffet is set up in a different room adjacent to the dining room. A long table is covered with a white table cloth. Large white plates start off the buffet line followed by multiple silver chafers. I pick up my plate and make my way down the line. Apple roasted pork shoulder with pan jus fills the first chafer, with beef tenderloin in the next. As I continue, I scoop garlic whipped potatoes onto my plate along with bacon maple balsamic Brussel sprouts. Continuing with the exceptional staff, bus boys line the room making sure the chafers never run low on their content. I head back to the dining room anxious to begin devouring my
