I was about 6 years old at Christmas time and have been asking my parents for a horse for the long time but would not budge at all. But the day came, it was Christmas day! I was digging through all of the presents and I was about done, when I came across a folder. We heard that some people we know wanted to sell there one horses named Blue. We started to ask the people about him and they invited us over to ride him. We trailered Blue to an arena and rode him around. He was good at being ridden for not being ridden for 5 years. The people said that the person that had him before showed him at the world horse show, show jumping and some other big name horse shows. The people said that we could take Blue to our house to get use to us and our other horses use to him. We also could ride him some more. She wasn't halter broke at the time so we locked her mom in the pasture and locked her in the barn. We made a path she could take through the barn and someone walk behind her with a big piece of wood so that nobody could get kicked. Cinder was soon at the trailer door and she had no choice but to go in. She tripped into the trailer but she was in. We quickly closed the trailer doors so she couldn't get out. We decided to leave right away since she has never been in a trailer and never been this far away from her mom. When we got home we put her in the pasture so she could calm down overnight. Cinder started to kick all the other horses but after a little bit all of the horses got along

Contrary to my achievements, my first tryst with horse riding wasn’t smooth sailing. Distinct images of the first day at the stable flash before my eyes every time I reflect upon my humble beginning. I was helped on to the horse by my trainer and instructed to take the reins in my hands when suddenly the horse spooked and charged towards the fence. I fell off and lay still; the
This newspaper article was created to commemorate an important event within the community of Layton, Utah in 1999. It celebrates when my great-grandfather John Field was inducted into the United Horseman Hall of Fame. He started training horses when he was very young and successful in this hobby and built up a reputation. After a stable fire on the Halloween night of 1980 that killed eighteen prized horses, my great-grandfather lost his livelihood. However, he was able to rebuild his career through support from friends and a persevering philosophy. He created his own stable in Layton, UT and continued to attend shows. After a seventy year career and over four hundred wins, he was nominated for United Horseman Hall of Fame in 1999 and was
Comfort Object, such an absurd word for such a nice thing. The true meaning of a Comfort Object is a stuffed animal; or a blanket/toy that people snuggle with at night. They relinquish the object around the age of eight, so the object does not stay with them forever. They are very strict on there rules and hate when people break them. If people don't follow the rule, they will be chastised. In the Giver, they do not know what animals are; and they don't have any animals at all. The Giver describes it as an object that they would usually keep with during the night. They

It starts in Victorian, England, when Black Beauty was young and raised by his mother Duchess. His first owner was Farmer Grey, who was a very generous master that made Beauty’s early life very happy. His mother always gave him lectures and lessons about becoming a well-tempered horse, because she believed
The only things that were saving the bunnies was me complaining to my mom about keeping then. My parents lost the final straw when I went outside to the bunnies and started sticking my finger in the cage, right after that one of the bunnies bit my
Make no mistake about that. The letter D gives us the Dartmoor Pony. This horse is one of nine breeds that are specific to the British Isles. This particular breed comes from a barren moorland called Dartmoor, which is located in Devon, England.
One day when I was in sixth grade I came home on my birthday, and when I opened the door I saw a medium size brown box that said pearl on the side. As I swathe box that said pearl I jus started to jump around and my mom jus said, “happy birthday.” That was the happiest day of my life. Finally, I got a real drum and real drumsticks. My brother bought me the pro-mark 2B drumsticks, which are my favorite drumsticks. When I opened the box I saw the most beautiful thing, a silver snare drum. The snare drum came with a black squared case that says, “pearl”, on both sides.
When I was born, my mom and dad got me a blanket. I’ve loved that blanket since the day I got it. This blanket wasn’t any fancy blanket. Though this blanket is old and worn out it holds many memories therefore is my most valuable possession. I know a lot of people have blankets, but mine is different to me.
A random girl that had it handed it to me in a bag that was open on the top and had a cute floral print. When I grabbed it, it was so cute, it felt just like a dog. I was cringing until it looked up at me and I relaxed, this however was a
