I rember the day that i got my dog major vividly. It started out like this one of my friends was having castel fun center that day. So i had to call my mom to see if i can go go. When she picked up the phone "i said hi mom can i go to a party"she said "maybey just come home" when i came home. I said hi to my mom and i went into my room and i played video games . Then my mom starts video taping me "saying what do yo like to do" i said "i like to play video games". Her next question to me was do you want a youtube account?" I said yes then my answer was maybe and she need to think about it. All of a sudden my room door had opened and closd. When i wlaked to my door i saw my dad push the door open and he was holding a puppy. I cried and
i thanked my parents
Going into college I thought everything was going to be a breeze. Actually, I thought it would be just like high school. I quickly found out that, that wasn’t the case. It was so many different people. The setting wasn’t something I was used to at all. You know how in high school majority of the people were goofy not really focused on what they should be focused on? Here it was the total opposite. Everyone was ready to learn and do something with their lives. In high school we never started learning on the first day or even in the first week. I wish it was the same! Then coming home after a long day to nobody at all telling you to clean this, do that, help your sister with this, but actually coming to your room of peace and quiet. All together
I cried in my room for hours wishing my dad would not go, a whole month without him seemed like the end of the world. I would have no one to play hockey with, no one to tuck me in at night and no one to eat donuts with every Friday. My dad tried to console me but I was too angry to listen to him, I suddenly hated my grandpa for causing my dad to leave me alone. At the airport my dad gave me a long hug and told me to be brave since I was now “the man of the house,” (even though I am a girl), I had to take care of my mom. Promptly this made me suck in my tears and stop acting like a “loser.” It was hard repressing my feelings, seeing my dad leave made my eyes tear severely but I held them back, the man of the house does not cry. Time went by faster when I was at school, I had less time to miss my dad. About two weeks later, my mom got a call from India, my grandpa had died. My mom broke down crying, she slammed the phone across the room into the wall. I felt scared to appr...
Our eldest dog, Marvel, was still out, my mom went to put her in her kennel when JT, her ex husband, said to let her stay out. He assured her we wouldn’t be gone for too long and grandma would be in the other room resting so she would be fine. My mom hesitated, she reluctantly agreed, but the last words she ever said to Marvel still haunts me, “I’m trusting you”. It was a fun night, we went to dinner then we went to the mall for a little bit. On the car way home as I drifted off to sleep I thought about the fun night we had.
When I went to the beach it was me and my brothers when to the beach and my little brother ask us if we would put him in the sand and the good brothers we are we dug a hole that was so dip I would stand in it and it took us 3 hours to do it so u are getting in this hole he said ok and got in it when we put him in there and my mom was so mad she made us stay in the house for 2 days we had to beg her to let us go to the beach she said ok and she got to mad when we did that it all most took us a day to get him out of there and that is my story when I went to the beach. And I went out to eat and it was so good u need to go to that place it was called Jacks. We had a lot of fun and we went fishing and we cooked all of the fish. We meet so woman
My First Puppy It was a nice winter day and my parents made me come home from a friend’s house. I had no clue what we were doing until we got to Chester, South Dakota. We were driving and listening to some country music and the one hour trip felt like a never ending adventure. Finally my dad turned down a gravel road. At this point all of us kids were wondering what was going on.
As a kid, I fell in love with the idea of getting a puppy for Christmas. Wrapped in a small box with a bow on top sitting under the tree just like the movies and tv shows I had seen. I can remember making a Christmas list of all the things I wanted that year, and every year the same thing that I wanted had said “puppy” with it underlined so that my mother knew which was my favorite on the list. Every year no surprise, I didn’t find a dog. I never understood why I never received one. When the kids at school talked about the few dogs they had at home made me so jealous, but I hoped that one day it would be me to have my own best friend at home.
I have a love for cats. Ever since I was a teenager I always wished for a cat of my own. When I moved in a three story apartment in California, the Manager of the complex said that cats were allowed in the units. I mentioned to my Aunt at the time that I was searching in the newspapers under advertisements for cats wanted. One cool breezy evening, my Aunt called me and said that a friend of her's named Judy had a cat named Katie who did not get along with her other two cats. So I agreed to meet with Judy to see if I'd love to adopt Katie.
As soon as I snapped out of my unreal reality the doctor told me words that could only mean one thing he wasn’t going to make it, I cried as the doctor was still talking. I told him if I could see him and when I got in all I could see is the pain in his eyes as he walk very slowly up to me as if he could feel my pain as well. I hugged him as tight as I could I didn’t want to let go then suddening I got a call, I wasn’t thinking of picking it up but they told me it was from a doctor, so when I picked up the phone the doctor on the phone told me this “ Hello I am dr.Halls and I heard about your dog's problem and was wondering if i could take a look at him and help you maybe fix his problem” my words speechless and could barely breath I could a hard filled breath and said
Getting My First Puppy When I woke up this morning I thought it was just going to be an ordinary day. Boy was I wrong, what happened today will change my life forever… I walked groggily out of my room to the kitchen, as I do most Saturday mornings in the summer. Made myself some coffee, and dug through the cabinet looking for something to eat for breakfast. I eventually just decide on normal basic cereal. After finishing my breakfast, I find that my dad has left me and my sister a note on the counter.
I remember a time when a new dog saved my life. I was about eleven or twelve years old, and as an illegal immigrant I was having trouble finding friends, the fact that I was new at the elementary school I attended didn’t do much to help my popularity. I was starting to get obsessed with video games. The one guy that my brother and i hung out with happend to have an old gameboy he didn’t use, and he let me borrow it. It had quite a few games on it, but the one I fixated on was the Red version of the new pokemon game.
The day Mom got Sugar was somewhat frightening for me. Obviously, I wanted nothing to do with the dog, I never planned to be in the same room as the dog, much less, take care of the dog. After all, Mom was supposed to take care of the dog. Slowly, I fell in love with her. She looked stern and loving. Her warm, brown eyes and pearly white smile only helped me fall in love with her. Not long after that I started to enjoy her company. Sugar was a loyal dog, she wanted to please everyone. When we went for a walk Sugar would come with us. We kept her on a leash, yet she never strayed from us.
The light from the sun reflects off the pure white wall, illuminating the room. The dust floats, undisturbed by the empty house. This is what I see as I launch myself out the door, into the hot summer air, into the sounds of playing children.
Ever since I can remember I’ve wanted a dog. Never did I think that dogs would end up being by biggest fear. I was just a little kid around 6 years old when it happened. I was walking home from my friend’s house when I saw a stray dog, it was in the middle of the street blocking my way, I decided to walk past it, while I was walking it started growling at me, I hesitated but still kept trying to walk then suddenly it got up and started barking empathically towards me. I was terrified, my first initial reaction being a 6 year old kid was to scare it away, I was ignorant. I picked up a rock and threw it at the dog thinking it’ll get scared and run away. I was wrong. The dog had enough it made a whimpering noise then started barking even louder
February twenty-third 2010 was just a regular ordinary day. I was on my way to class on this cold February afternoon, when my phone rung. It was my cousin on the other end telling me to call my mom. I could not figure out what was wrong, so I quickly said okay and I hung up and called my mom. When my mom answered the phone I told her the message but I said I do not know what is wrong. My mom was at work and could not call right away, so I took the effort to call my cousin back to see what was going on. She told me that our uncle was in the hospital and that it did not look good. Starting to tear up I pull over in a fast food restaurant parking lot to listen to more to what my cousin had to say. She then tells me to tell my mom to get to the hospital as quickly as possible as if it may be the last time to see her older brother. My mom finally calls me back and when I tell her the news, she quickly leaves work. That after-noon I lost my Uncle.
It was around 2:00pm and it was time to open presents. I started with opening friend’s presents then I opened families. I was finally done opening all my presents. I looked around at all the people, who were looking at me and my dad was nowhere to be. That was the only present that I was looking forward too. The party ended and my dad didn’t show up, my little four years old hopes were in the ground, it was like I could feel my heart ripping appart. I looked at my mom and she mouthed I’m sorry, my faced turned rosy red and my eyes filled with tears. From that moment on my life was never the same. It was a dark cloudy day and I was going to see my dad. We were playing the game Sorry and he was winning. I was the yellow player and he was the green player, he was laughing and smiling the whole time. I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my Friday afternoon any other way. When the game was over he asked me to clean up the game while he went out to smoke a cig. When he entered the room and the game wasn’t picked up, he went crazy. His eyes seemed to turn a dark almost black color. It was like he was a completely different person when he came back
