When I was asked by my mother what I wanted to do for my 15th birthday the first thing that popped into my head was roller coasters. This idea has been in my head ever since I heard one of my best friends talking about how she was tired of going to a 15's dinner or event. So I got to thinking about what would be enjoyable for me and my 3 best friends. Then the idea hits roller coasters. I rode one of my first roller coasters in school with my 3 best friends. Whenever there was a carnival in town and they had a cool roller coaster, we would all go together on it. It was one of our few traditions that stuck. So now I had to choose the where. We actually had all went to Disney world about a year ago, and one of my best friends, Alex, hated it. So …show more content…
Not only did it have all the cool amusement parks in it, but it also had some great roller coaster. So, I and my mom went online and did some research, what we found wasn’t so great. The cost of the trip in total was about 3,000 dollars. My mother is a nurse and my father is unemployed, we just don't have that much money lying around. Although, my mom insisted that if that's what I wanted then that's what I should get. I love my mom, but I didn't want her to be in debt for the next 6 months trying to pay this trip off. So I did some research on my own. It seems that there is an amusement park about 4 hours away from Miami and half the price as universal. That park is called Busch Gardens. Now to say this is one of the best trips I have ever taken is an understatement. This trip was amazing and I bonded even more with my 3 best friends. Alex, who the pickiest out of all, loved this trip and talked more than I have ever seen her talk in my life. Lena, who shows her enthusiasm very profanely, was so happy that she barely even talked. She just would tell me how much she loves me every 5 minutes. Trust me when I say that's something. Isa, who is the snobbiest, couldn't be more grateful for this
Traveling to an amusement park is a family’s finest way to bond, but is it worth the time and drive to attend just any amusement park? This essay will compare and contrast Six Flags San Antonio, SeaWorld San Antonio, and Disney World Florida from price range, food, and the variety of rides.
What comes to mind when you hear the word adventure!!? Well there is a place in Florida that is guaranteed to bring out your inner kid every time you visit. This place is known as universal Orlando Florida. This is a place where you can go on vacation and have fun like never before as you did when you were a kid. On my visit to Orlando I stated at a four-star resort located inside the theme park known as Cabana Bay Beach Resort, also went to universal studios and islands of adventure were I felt like I was a kid again.
When we left the hotel, my parents had a tough time finding the theme park. There were so many overpasses and lanes, my dad missed the exit a few times. Luckily, my dad finally got off at the right exit. When we first arrived, I was so excited. I had never seen so many seen so many people in one place, and the climate was very different compared to El Paso. I remember listening to the roars of the roller coasters and the screams of the people on them. We finally got into the park. As we entered, I remember it being very humid and moist. There were so many different smells coming from the restaurants.
"Mom, can we go to Florida" is a common phrase heard when school is out. Deciding where to go and what to see is a very hard decision for cash strapped parents. Picking one park is even harder when they are both five minutes apart from each other. When you want to see top amusement parks, you have a choice of two of the biggest names in the Industry, Disney-MGM or Universal. Both parks offer a different experience, yet they started with the same goal in mind, entertain the guest.
Have you been to the sunshine state? I have. Amusement parks, sandy beaches, shops, and more make Florida an awesome trip destination that everyone can enjoy. It all started with the sound of my alarm at 3:00 am, I thought it was too early, but later on I found out it was well worth it. My mom soon threw my bedroom door open, “We need to leave in 15 minutes for the airport” I quickly got ready in what little time I could, grabbed my suitcase and hopped in my dad's car.
Personal Narrative: The World The world is a messed up place and we are all stuck here until our lives are through, or until we choose to leave. It's strange that I go along with everything everyone tells me, such as that I should wear certain clothes or listen to certain songs. I often wonder why I do the things I do, but then I just realize that's who I am. People are confused about why they are here, and they don't understand what life is supposed to be about.
In the middle of July, my mom, brother and I went to Six Flags. This wasn't our first time going there, nor our second. What made this time special was that we went there extremely early so we could ride all the rides. The lines to ride the roller coasters weren't as long, until it reached evening time. There were a couple of water rides near the roller coaster.
I remember the year my Highschool team went to the state championship. My team the Kansas City Hawks went up against the twelve time champs The St.Louis Kings. What made them twelve time champs was us. Every time my team went to the championship The Kings met us there. All twelve times The King where the victors. January 25,2024 The Hawks were on a warpath for that Championship.
Furthermore, Disney World was the best experience for me because I went on the most amazing rides. Walking around the park, Monica, who is my older sister, would always tell me stories about the risks and dangers of getting on a rollercoaster and stories about people going to the hospital die to their horrible
This summer i went to Lagoon. It was super fun. We drove to it, and we were super cramped in our car. But luckily we made it. When we got there, the first thing i saw was The Wicked ride. I wanted to ride it, but at the same time i didn’t think i would do it. Then we got our tickets and they let us into the park.
Let's take a trip back to Biloxi, Ms. I went on this trip with my friends Anika ,Nazaria and Keia. I always have a lot of fun when I take a vacation with my friends and I am happy that we make tons of memories. We drove to Biloxi for Black Beach it was a great experience, the people were very nice and the food was great. There was plenty of traffic, but we didn't mind being stuck in a car together.Everyday being there made me not want to return home, because of all of the fun we were having.
The drive is my favorite place to be. The reason behind this is that the drive is a perfect purgatory. A perfect middle ground. In the drive i’m going somewhere and yet at the same time i’m going nowhere. You’re leaving and going at the same time. I love this fulcrum because it allows me to not worry about making a decision because it’s happening at the same time. A moment of peace.
We only know what is real by what our senses tell us is real. But how our senses tell us what is real is through our brain’s interpretation, so really our brain tells us what is real. Our brain defines what is real to us, however determining what is not real is not so simple. I am struggling to define what is not real. Your question is too broad for me to determine what is not real, if something does not have physical shape, color or size it cannot be real in a materialist world. I believe anything and everything you can think of is real to some degree. A character you read in a book is real, even if it only existed in our minds. A fragrance is also real, even though it does not have a size or shape that can be definable by touch, or sight.
A few years ago when I went to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, with my mom, dad and sister was the most memorable vacation I had gone on. We had went two summers ago when I was fifteen. I got to do somethings that I had never done, and things I may not get to do again. I got to go parasailing, went on a banana boat ride and went on the Sky Wheel. Parasailing was made my trip so great.
When I heard my parents talking about going to Disney World I was so excited. It was a long trip down to Florida and I could not sit still, because I was so excited. We finally arrived that evening and decided to stay in a hotel near the theme park. When it was time for bed I could not go to sleep for a long time, because I was so excited about going at Disney world. When I saw the big mirror ball from the entrance, I was amazed. Disney world had a wide variety of rides. There were tons of rides that shocked me. Some of these rides made you feel like you were riding in a jet because of how fast they were. There was even a roller coaster ride in the huge mirror ball. It was a slow ride, but I still liked it because there was air conditioning inside the ball. We spent all day at the park until we had ridden everything. That night Disney World had a firework show. The fireworks seemed like they lasted forever with the amazing colors bursting in the air one right after another. When the firework show finally ended my parents told me that it was time to leave. I was...
