Me and my family were done watching an exciting movie at AMC called “Ready Player One”. It was was about video games and ,also it has a lot of action too. Trent and I were acting like a lunatic after the movie so my mom told me to stop and I calmed down a bit, but that didn’t stop Trent though. My dad walked towards the soda machine refilling the drink and the enormous popcorn bowl. I felt really spiritless to the point where I just wanted to help my dad refill the drink. My mom disappeared into the restroom and Trent was fooling around like a insane monkey. While I continued refilling the drink, I heard a click and banging on the glass door. I then turned around and saw Trent banging on the door outside, that’s when I realized that Trent locked himself out of the theater. “HELP ME,” Trent said through the door, but I couldn’t hear him, it just made me burst out laughing. “Trent how did you get outside”, I could barely get the words out of my mouth since I was laughing all over the place. “ What’s going on, …show more content…
why are you-” my dad cut off his sentences when he was looking at me and Trent as we were the delirious people on Earth. “Trent why are you outside,” my dad said with rage in his voice. “THIS IS WHY WE DON'T MESS AROUND” my mom came out of nowhere. “Come on let’s leave” my dad started to walk towards the door and was about to open the door but I stopped him.
“Maybe we could just leave him outside a little longer” but just when I was about to push him back, my grip loosened on his arm and he reached for the door. “NO” I tried to grab his arm again, but instead I knocked over the popcorn out of his hands and the popcorn went flying everywhere into the wall to the floor. My dad glared at me, “Alea”! I looked at the popcorn that was scattered across the floor and I felt really shameful of myself. “Sorry, ” I said in a low tone. I heard Trent laughing his butt off while he was locked outside the glass door where I could clearly see him pointing at me. “Now that’s another reason why we don't mess around” my mom yelled while dad was looking at the popcorn on the floor sadly. “Go ask one of the managers to clean it up”, my dad sighed and went to one of the managers just like what my mom said while I went
outside. Once I was outside I continued to laugh some more. Trent ran towards me saying “Why didn’t you let me in Alea”! “And why did you have to knock over the popcorn out of my hands, that was a waste of food” my dad started to yell at me too, but I couldn’t answer them, I was still laughing my butt off. “I can’t, I seriously can’t,” I said with laughter in my voice. “I mean Brian, it was your fault too,” my mom said. “WHAT DO YOU MEAN IT'S MY FAULT,” my dad said being bewilderment. “Yeah dad, why did you let the popcorn knock over your hands,” I said, but I knew that it was actually my fault. ”Wait...wasn’t it Alea’s fault since she was the one who knocks over the popcorn,” Trent said with also confusion in his head. “No Trent, it is his fault because he was the one that held the popcorn in the way for me to knock it over his hand”. We continued to argue and argue to the point where it wasn't just my fault, it was everybody’s fault. When we went to the car and slammed the door we all just stared at all of us and laughed our hearts out.
Arriving at Lacey’s house I walk to the backdoor letting myself into the house. Lacey was putting on tanning lotion in the kitchen, “Lacey,” I called to her, “my mom wants me to pick up snacks for the beach, do you want to go into town with me?”, “Sure,” she replied, “do you mind if my cousin comes with us?”, “Of course I don’t mind,“ I answered, “but we have to get moving, my dad only left me the car to use ‘til noon.”
“You got him! Nice shot man! You did amazing on it,” my brother congratulated me.
I remember the year my Highschool team went to the state championship. My team the Kansas City Hawks went up against the twelve time champs The St.Louis Kings. What made them twelve time champs was us. Every time my team went to the championship The Kings met us there. All twelve times The King where the victors. January 25,2024 The Hawks were on a warpath for that Championship.
In the future, those I love will feel pain. My friends and family will all hurt. I’m so sorry. I’ve battling self-confidence issues since i can remember. When sophomore year started, I knew something was wrong. I felt lonely and worthless. Every day I would wake up and prepare to act as if I were someone else so everyone at school wouldn't know that something was wrong. It started as random thoughts of self-mutilation often popping up in class and scaring me. Every time those thoughts would pop up I would just imagine shooting myself and they would go away. Over the course of time, these thoughts progressed from self-mutilation to suicide. Every night I would think about it in the shower and before I went to sleep. After some time,
went to sit down on the sofa. A few minuets later my food was ready
In the first scenerio: "I have a fantastic manager. She is a strong leader, supportive, kind, and still has high expectations. I recently missed sending an email to a client that she asked me to follow-up with. I want to make sure that I never disappoint her." One solution to take after not following up with the client as directed by the manager could be to immediately email the manager and let her know about the mistake made in not completing her directions. Also immediately email the client to continue following up with them. Not following up with the client is the employee's mistake and he/she could use better time management skills, a lesson learned in Pro-Skills. To never disappoint the manager again using a calender, sticking notes
Do I think it is okay to exploit the rules of a game? I think it is wrong, end of story. I have been with coaches who try everything possible to stretch the rules as far as they can before they can so called break the rules. I had a coach in high school who would always say if you are not cheating you’re not trying. At the time I thought nothing of it, although over time my time has changed.
“I want to let you know how thankful I am for your assistance, Sam.” Mr. Bushnell said, leading me into an elevator.
Religion has always been confusing for me when regarding myself and my family. Everyone around me had their own or didn’t have one at all. My grandparents were catholic and taught their six kids in a catholic mindset. All my aunts and uncles got baptized, went to church every Sunday, and read the bible. Once they got older they stopped going though. I don’t think any of them even stills believes in god anymore. Then there’s my sister, Julie, who was raised catholic in her younger years. Her grandparents would take her to church and Sunday school and even wanted to get her baptized as a baby. My mom said no though so she wasn’t. When Julie was in Elementary School her grandmother sent her to a religious camp. I didn’t have to go though because
One dark, stormy October night me and some friends went trick or treating. Then we saw this abandon house so we decided to go in it well when we did we found out it was haunted. We went in and went up the stairs and one of my friends somehow got tripped and fell down the stairs and almost broke his .leg. Then we heard a voice that said get out or die.

I gave her a fake smile, and slipped my own shoes on. The left foot boot had a huge stain that was as black as the midnight sky. I looked at the doorway and could see my mom and dad carrying huge loads of presents into the back of the truck. I keep looking to see if they were carrying a small rectangular box that was the size of an iphone that I have been wanting for like, EVER! I decided to look away and have it be a surprise because maybe if I got something good this year for Christmas people would start to notice me. Anyways, my cousin Bella had a iphone that was so cool, we used to play on it all the time, just me and her.
I walk up the cold steps. My heart beating hard, fast, feeling like it’s about to leap out of my chest.
It was around 10 o’clock on a Friday night. I was home alone, because my parents and my brother had all made plans to go out with their friends or small groups. I had elected to make it a lazy evening, where I would lay on the couch and watch TV, all while being tightly wrapped in a few blankets to keep warm. I may have dozed off for a few minutes, and when I awoke, it had begun raining quite hard. In fact, there was thunder and lightning, and a few moments of hail. The sound of the driving rain against the house lulled me back to sleep.
If I woke up with a ability I would be excited, proud and happy. Imagine how you will be if you had that happen to you! The ability I will have is flying. I had always wanted this ability so that I can fly around my neighborhood. Also that I can go to places that are long to walk to and just fly over there quick and not exhausted.
