It was a summer in Tahiti. I had never been there before, so everything was foreign: the sights, the sun, the ocean, the people, the way the air felt on my skin. I was taken away with how intriguing the country was. It was amazing to observe how other people lived outside of my small town in Southern California, outside of my country I call home. The waters of Bora Bora were the most amazing I have seen first hand. It was the most beautiful shade of blue, yet still managed to be translucent. The gentle waves folded onto the shore, creating a calming texture on the satin water. Going physically beneath that magnificent ocean water was a completely different experience. My family and I took a tour around the island by boat. When I jumped off
Bora Bora is said to be the prettiest island on the planet, because of its beautiful beaches, volcanoes, tourism, and fruits. Bora Bora is what many people think of when they idealize a tropical paradise. Some of the most important things about Bora Bora are important facts about the island, the origin of Bora Bora, and some of Bora Bora’s best natural features.
As I opened my eyes, I saw a giant cruise ship in front of my eyes.It took two whole days but we finally reached Florida where we went Rock Gliding. It’s where you have to get past a giant, rocky maze. The winner gets to cans of ice cream.Though my sister won,we all shared the ice cream.Next stop, the Bahamas!!!In the bahamas we went parasailing up 700 ft above water level,it was so much fun.The boat driver even let us touch the smooth, light blue water with our feet. Finally, we ended with a relaxing dolphin swim on the soft, delicate beach of Jamaica.
I took a trip to Colorado In July of 2015 it was the best week of my life. The best part of that week was the day that I got to spend in rocky mountain national park. It was a great experience with beautiful scenery and wildlife everywhere you looked. This trip changed everything I thought about where I wanted to go and what I wanted to do when I am finished with my schooling.
My most memorable trip of my life was when I first moved to the United States in 2008. I was eight years old when I moved from the small city of HaIfa in Israel to the big bay area. Israel can fit into just California about 20 times! I moved here wIth my mom ,dad ,older brother ,and younger sIster. There were many big obstacles and trips my famIly knew we had to take in order to feel more comfortable and at home here In the United States.
The first thing I heard was Virginia Beach vacation, and then in excitement I ran and got my stuff and started to pack. The part I was most excited about was that the hotel is a beachfront hotel room.I was so excited because I love the beach and I really wanted to go back to the beachfront hotel and stay there. I went there when I was in second grade. I have gotten to go there a few times since second grade, but I did not get to stay there overnight.
There I stand on the Atlantic Ocean beach in Daytona, Florida. It’s 7:49 A.M, June 28, 2015. I feel my size ten feet sink into the frosty sand. With my board in my left arm, and sand covering my body, I seize my direction towards the blue ocean. As I halt at the base of the monumental ocean, I gaze in both directions, not a life in sight. I feel at peace, solitude, in my own meager world. As the crisp ocean mist wipes my sand replete face, I bounce into the ocean with my board under my body, cruising into the profound blue sea.
Hearing the hum and vibrations of the crowded airplane with my mother and nine month baby sister landing into foreign land into my new life. Moving back into the state I was born in but having no memory of, Tennessee. California was all I knew. Traveling across the country into a different atmostshpere was an experience I won't ever forget. The cold air slapped my face instantly making my cheeks rosy.
My first vacation out of the United States was to a resort in Cancun, Mexico. My family had just landed from a grueling connecting flight and we were all in foul moods. My brother, sister, and I were complaining about our legs being sore. While, my mom and dad were arguing about where to go. After the heated discussion, we found a bus that was going to the resort. My family and I gathered our luggage and packed it on the crowded charter. Unexpectedly, the most profound part of my trip was the short twenty minute ride to the resort. As soon as we left the airport, I was struck by the immediate poverty. The airport had shielded us from the most evident displays of impoverishment. One of the most striking instances was a naked woman bathing in a filthy river with an infant. I saw this no more than five minutes away from our resort which seemed unbelievable. Just looking out the window of the charter made my siblings and I quickly stop complaining about our legs. The short bus ride showed me the unfairness of the world. Why had I seemingly been given everything and this infant given nothing? This experience taught me gratitude at a young age. Just how I
As I lay on the minute golden grains of sand, I looked up at the brilliant sky, adorned with flashes of pink and orange and purple, mirroring the colours of a flawless seasoned apricot. The goddess-like sun’s face is being embraced by the demure navy fingertips of the skyline.
Spending a week close to the wilderness and close to the wildlife in such a big place like YellowStone. I wanted to explore every nook and cranny YellowStone had to offer, All the amazing views which made me breathless. All the places from Bunsen peak to the Mammoths hot springs and even the work I did there opened my eyes to all the efforts my job goes through to keep the environment in great shape for the generations to come. Every new experience there will be forever engraved into my head. It was something so new to me and I wa truly amazed by the beauty of this place and also focused on the change that I would make while
Waves crashing against the hot sand on the shores of the Florida coast, the hot sun burning my back as I lay on my pastel pink beach towel taking in the hot Florida breeze. The sky is blue and not a cloud in sight, sea shells lay around me, the laughter of cute, teen boys fills my ears. But it’s over before it even started. The sound of laughter and birds chirping is filled with yelling and arguing with things being smashed.
After driving back and forth from the base to our hotel on the hand-me down school bus, we were all finally glad to hear the words,” Alright! Beach time!” . It was the finest thing we'd heard since,” We’re here.” The excitement radiating from the bus of confidence of our armed exhibition team, who got 8th place.
My personal experience was when I went to California for the first time. It was one of the best, most fun trips I have ever experienced in my life. I am going to tell you why this trip was one of my amazing experiences throughout my lifetime. To begin with, to drive from Phoenix to California, that would be about a 5 hour drive and I thought it would be shorter but I was clearly wrong. I went with my step dad named Travis, Mom, older sister, and younger sister.
I use any excuse to walk along the ocean, especially alone and without my phone. The wind blew cold air, but the sun’s warm rays kept my body at a perfect temperature. It was three in the afternoon and I was calm.
...autiful and exciting place. The water is unlike any other body of water that I had ever laid my eyes upon. Worthy of the nickname ‘God’s swimming pool”, it has a seemingly endless horizon that reaches as far as the eye can see. The sand is so fine and powdery and it amazes me at how it can change textures with just a little bit of water. Perhaps the most amazing part of the beach is the vast array of wildlife that inhabits the area. From fish to crabs, you will never see the same creature twice. Each animal has their own distinct characteristics which make it exciting to explore and try to find more. My favorite place in the world is definitely the beach and I highly recommend visiting and seeing it with your own two eyes. It is an infinite world of expression, a paradise of color. There is no possibility of disappointment when it comes to the serenity of the ocean.
