This week I have completed my personal activities. I had 3 activities to complete one being Random Act of Kindness, The second being Nurturing Relationships, and the last Taking care of your body. I was glad to see the scores I got, it gave me activities I am passionate about, but also need to work on to better myself.
Activity # 1 Nurturing Relationships
The first activity I had was Nurturing Relationship. I’ve been in a long term relationship for over seven years and this is something that I believe is important to nourish a relationship and keep it thriving. The book provided great suggestions on managing conflict within a relationship, the activity I chose was to express appreciation and affection. I called him or texted him every other day to let him know how much I appreciate him and how proud I am for being such a hard worker. Not only did this make him feel appreciated, but it brought us even closer as a couple, and that’s what’s important to me. Another activity I’ve worked on in Nurturing Relationship is managing conflict, this is a strategy we’ve been working on for a couple of months. So when I get mad about something instead of raising my

For this activity the book gave me many great examples such as meditation, spiritual such as praying, and physically. The one that I picked to do first was to start and take care of my body physically, I felt like this activity was most important to me at this time. Just as the book suggested for those who are just starting with exercising to start slow and pace yourself. So that’s exactly what I did, I made a plan and penciled them into my day. Along with starting the exercising I have started to eat healthier. I am now eating to fuel my body as of were as before I would eat anything that taste good. I have only been doing this for a little while, but I can feel I have more energy throughout the day. Now I’m just trying to make it a
My goal of this behavior change project was to implement more physical activity each day and keep a healthy diet after working out. During this process, I have learned a lot about how to stick to a strict schedule and how to overcome the challenges I have experienced already. My desire outcome was to have at least 5 out of the 7 days to be successful each week. There were some minor setbacks, but I was able to come back and succeed the following week. I have also learned that people learn from their failures. No one is perfect and it takes practice to get your desired outcome.
... a full marathon, just getting a person’s heart rate up can do wonderful things for their attitudes in life. Walking works wonders.
Physical activity is my weakest area. I only exercised one day of the week and the plan was for six to seven days a week. The most successful and reasonable way that I can work my way up to my goal is to not jump in with both feet and think that I should be over exerting myself because I will lose interest. I enjoy classes such as yoga, spin class, or kickboxing which would be a great way to build up my energy and also be entertaining. Walking for thirty minutes a day is another way to effectively engage my body to be more

Mentally, I realized that showing acts of compassion to others had a great influence on my mind. First, my way of thinking changed soon after the exercise. In this case, I started realizing that all people are equal and should be entitled to love just like we need. A c...
Summer vacation, and school ends for about three months, and then you have as much fun as you can, then back to school… right? Well I had to go to summer school, but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. Everything was going fine, I had a job after summer school, and that was going fine as well. They say that summer is supposed to be fun and exciting, and it usually is for me and my family. However in July my father started coughing up blood. My father usually doesn’t make it his top priority to go to the doctors, so he waited about four weeks until he really didn’t feel good.
The fairy tales say that once upon a time a girl met a boy; they fell in love, and lived happily ever after. Reality is not that simple. Long-term relationships force couples to get to know each other, involve themselves in each others’ worlds, fight through the hard times, and eventually develop deeper connections through distinctive stages of Knapp’s relationship model. Although I have dated the same person for over two years, the stages of our communication make it seem as though I am now dating a different person following dissolution and subsequent repair. However, even the most exhilarating of roller coaster rides develop through a combination of ups and downs, much like the stages of a relationship.

We often take time out of our day and invest our time and money into some sort of "energy boosting" product when we have the cheaper and more effective solution the outdoors....
I am by myself wearing my blue jeans and an old flannel shirt. It is cool outside but I decided to leave my gloves at home, feeling comfortable with my warm shirt and my sturdy boots.
