This summer I traveled to Orange Beach. And why I went because I was going to play in the world series. And I almost got to go skiing. And my mom, dad, mawmaw, and two of my cousins and my brother. And we got to the qualifying round and we came in 3rd place. It happend on June26 - 31. And we saw dolphins. And I saw a shark. And me and my brother caught some fish. And I stayed in a condo. And I didn't see any jellyfish. But I caught some sandfleas. And some crabs. And I saw some boats. And I saw people parasaling. And I eat some good good. But I saw some people patrolling the roads. And I saw some chopped food. And when I saw the shark I started
panicked.
I had a great time during my vacation in Myrtle Beach. First of all, myrtle beaches were beautiful. I went to Myrtle Beaches on summer 2013 for ten days, and I had a good time with my family. It was always about 90 degrees
Daytona Beach Florida is my ideal paradise. It is a vacation my mother and I attend every July to visit family members we only see once a year. Each year is a memorable experience, as I desire staying connected with family members near and far. I enjoy many aspects of this vacation trip such as the plane ride, the alluring scenery, and all of the activities.
In the past, I had come to grips that I had bad sleep issue and rarely had a good night rest. Partly, due to my high energy daughter with special needs that also woke frequently and partly because I've suffered with this affliction for my entire life. I came to expect that the hightened worry prior to travel would just be part of who I am,as well. I can write lists so I know I'm not forgetting anything, but ultimately, I'll worry that I'm forgetting something or not leaving the my parents, who usually take care of the kids/pets, with enough info to survive without me.
Have you ever had a day that you never wanted to end? The soothing sound of waves slowing crashing on the beach, the sweet smell of the salty pacific, freezing cold water nipping at your toes. That’s my paradise. Tampa Florida has been part of my life growing up, my grandparents have always lived there during the snowy winter months in Michigan. My family always travels to Florida to visit them over spring break and we always have an amazing time. But the spring break of 2012 was by far the best. Trekking to the beach every morning and soaking up the sun, playing volleyball and swimming with my family, venturing to new places and just exploring the city. I could not think of a more perfect vacation.
My heart was filled with so much joy as the day approached for us to head to Miami, Florida for our annual family reunion. We all got up around 4:00 a.m. that night to head out. Many of my family from all over Georgia planned to trail behind one another to enjoy the journey. Some from Thomasville, some from Cairo and some from Atlanta. Everyone was so overjoyed, you could tell by the smiles on their faces and the laughs they let out. As we traveled the bright and bumpy roads I watched all of the pretty palm trees, which is how I know we were getting close. Florida was full of palm trees and everyone that knows Florida know that everywhere in Florida is filled with palm trees. We traveled through so many different, beautiful cities. We traveled through Naples, West
I had my eyes glued on the clock all day, I was so excited for it to turn 4:30. You see I was going on vacation with my family to South Padre Island, it was a five-day weekend and we were going to be spending it there. By we I mean, my Husband, son, Mom, Brothers Roman, Raymond, Joseph, sister Rogue, Aunt and Uncle, and my cousins Mariah, Liz, Kim, and Edward.
I was born in Boca Raton near the beach, moved to Jupiter and lived near the beach, then moved to Jacksonville Beach. I have always lived in Florida within proximity of the beach, 5 miles distance at most. My love for the beach and all sensations associated with it is so immense and only grows with time. Certainly I can classify myself as a beach bum – racing to the beach nearly every day with my skimboard, body board, and my heart full of excitement. I don’t know what you envision when you hear the word ‘beach,’ but I like to think I have a one-of-a-kind mindset when it comes to the subject. When I hear the word ‘beach,’ I first think of the welcoming salty smells of the ocean air that always greet me before I set foot on the beach. Then, the healing sensation presented by the mother-like embrace of the warm ocean. Lastly, I think of the continuous sounds and sights of the ocean reaching out toward shore and retracting as if it’s trying to reach toward me and bring me closer to it.
I just got home from the vet, except this time I came home without my best friend. I pull my legs underneath me as I sit down on the edge of my bed. Through the large windows across from me, it’s overcast, and the puffy grey clouds grow darker over the ocean. The water stirs as the wind coaxes the waves to grow bigger. The swells build as they move closer to shore. Watching the waves crash on the beach and draw back out, over and over again is meditation. Memories of taking Dakota down to play on the beach come to mind; he loved going down to romp in the waves and chase seagulls ever since he was a puppy. If he hadn’t gotten sick, he would still be out in his favorite place.
“Ouch Hot,” I said as a jump onto the hot sand. It is a sunny day in Virginia Beach, even though it is about 6:15 PM. The sun is still going strong and staying up.
To start off my story about my trip to California, I would like to provide you with information about myself. I have been wanting to go to California for many years now. I was finally given the opportunity to go when my girlfriend’s uncle invited us to visit for a week. I was automatically very excited because he lived close to places my favorite movie was shot, that movie is Fast and Furious. I love cars and that movie, and what better place to go then Los Angeles to see where the movie was made.
One of my most favorite memories is from last summer when my parents and my three teenage siblings, and I took a trip to the Gulf of Mexico. We spent the weekend at a vacation home in Bradenton Beach Florida. First, we started out our trip by each of us packing what we would need for the weekend and loading it up in the truck. Next, while my dad was connecting our boat, my mom told us kids to bring our ear buds, phones, phone chargers, and a pillow to prepare for a very long and boring trip. Then, we stopped at McDonalds for breakfast before we got on the road, because my mom did not want to deal with hungry, angry teenagers on the trip. Finally, we arrived a few hours later and began our beach vacation which consisted of a pristine white sandy
I had a great time over summer break it was fun and I hung out with a ton of my friends they are all great. The most exciting thing I did was went to Florida to visit my sister that I haven’t seen in awhile and I got to see my niece and nephew too. When we got to Florida it was three in the morning and we stopped at a hotel about fifteen minutes from where my sister lived. It was me and my brother’s first time in Florida and we were super excited to be there and to get to see our sister. We did a ton of other stuff over the summer too.
While walking by the shore I was amazed by the soft smooth sand beneath my feet, it seemed like all the worries I had throughout the year were finally erased. There was a rock facing the ocean that it thought was really cool, so I decided to settle there for a moment to appreciate the view, I closed my eyes for a second letting myself comforted by the sounds of the ocean, the sounds the waves were making against the rocks was impressive. Spending a few more minutes on the rock I decided to go back. Tying to help my parents for making breakfast, they sent me and my brother to get bread, and a few croissants at the bakery. My brother was driving while I was still wondering the landscape, I thought it was interesting how this island contained a mix between mountains, and beaches. At the table, conversations were spontaneous and positives, I forgot how fun breakfast could be when spending with family. That day we had has a plan to go to the beach, my mom could guess what me and my father had in mind. It was scuba diving and hunting with harpoons, but before we had to first buy the necessary equipment, and study the fishes we could hunt, since some were protected, and review the fishes that were edible. Finally done with preparation we headed to the beach, me and my dad waited that day for so long, being a big fan of hunting, I was quite impressed by the number of variety the Mediterranean Sea could provide, also what really shocked
I jumped out of the car with my two sisters and ran to the bathroom. When we left the bathroom, we walked back to the car. We saw that our dad was still putting gas in the car, so we went into the store to buy some sweets. I bought “warheads” that said extremely sour, and a bag of chips called “baked with fire” that looked like they would taste really hot. When we purchased our food, we walked back to the car. As soon as we started driving, I opened my bag of chips. I was so scared that they would be extremely hot. For that reason, I also bought a bottle of water. I opened it before I took a bite out of the chip. Luckily, they were not hot at all! I grabbed my sour candy and tasted it. My face changed so quickly; that I started to squint my eyes and point my lips. I could not take another bite of it because it was really sour! Eventually, I was not hungry anymore. Probably because I ate my whole bag of chips and a sandwich. When I finished eating, I was feeling exhausted, so I took a long nap. I woke up, and dad told me that we only needed to drive for one more hour. While we were driving through town, we saw a row of trees on fire! It was so smoky that we could barely see the street we were driving on. I felt scared for life and terrified that we might crash. After a few more minutes of driving, the smoke cleared up and we could see again. Finally, the hour passed and we arrived in California. Mrs.
Over the summer I went on a trip to Virginia for 1 week. I was so excited that I finally got to go on a vacation to a beach because I hadn't been to one since 2013. But one thing that I wasn't looking forward to was the long 10 hour trip it took to get there. The drive to Virginia was actually not that bad. There was a lot of scenery that was so beautiful to look at since we drove mostly through mountainous areas. We drove for most of the day we left at about 11:00 am and got there at about 8: 30. I was so excited that we had finally made it and when I saw the ocean I was so happy! There was one drawback about getting there, it was dark and rainy, so my first impression wasn't as good as it could have been. That night I was so tired, but so overjoyed that I could hardly fall asleep and I ended up staying up for a long time. My sisters and I ended up waking up much earlier than my parents because we were so ready to go to the
