Have you ever been to Hawaii? I have, and going to Hawaii was one of the best experiences in my life. I had lots of fun doing different activities and exploring the islands. The main islands in Hawaii are Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii. Of those islands, I visited Oahu, Maui, and Hawaii. There were a lot of very interesting experiences and fun opportunities in Hawaii.
It all began when my family and I went to the Kansas City International Airport. We were connecting to Dallas, Texas and then flying from there to Hawaii. We got on the airplane and flew the 1 ½ hour flight to Dallas. From there we got on the amazing and very large airplane that we were going to fly to Hawaii on. When we sat down, I discovered that our seats had touch-screen screens that we could use to watch movies. We had a great time on the 8-hour flight to Hawaii from Dallas. We landed in Honolulu, Hawaii on Maui, where we got on a small plane that took us to Hilo, Hawaii on the big island. From there we met up with our relatives who had come with us and found our rental house. We have been through a long day of flying and went to bed as soon as possible. We could hear frogs everywhere making very strange noises.
When we woke up the next morning we had some wonderful locally made rainbow bread that was all sorts of different colors and started

We got on a small plane and flew to Maui to visit my Great-Aunt Lee Ann. We went with her to visit a volcano crater that we hiked through. I found some very colorful and shiny lava rocks. We climbed to the top of a small mountain to see all of the crater. You could see for miles. Then we watched the volcano erupt. We went on a snorkeling cruise again and saw more fish. We laid on the beach and enjoyed being there. We stayed in a hotel with the best pool I have ever been in. At the hotel, we saw a traditional Luau. We got to watch fire-dancers and Hawaiian
What is one thing that stands out in most peoples’ minds when they think of Hawaii? Most people would probably say the hula dance. The hula dance descended from, or can be traced to Polynesia and India. The Hula was a form of poetry for the Hawaiians in all of its sacred and ceremonial forms.
After we got tired of the pool me and my family started to head to the beach. So as we walked we noticed an amazing shell so we went and picked it up and there was a snail inside of it. It jumped out of its shell at my dad and scared us to death. After that we set it back free in the ocean, the we went and played around in the amazing water. My mom and my grand ma went to go and get lunch from the beach side café. They had the best food on the beach, we all ate our lunch and were stuffed
As I opened my eyes, I saw a giant cruise ship in front of my eyes.It took two whole days but we finally reached Florida where we went Rock Gliding. It’s where you have to get past a giant, rocky maze. The winner gets to cans of ice cream.Though my sister won,we all shared the ice cream.Next stop, the Bahamas!!!In the bahamas we went parasailing up 700 ft above water level,it was so much fun.The boat driver even let us touch the smooth, light blue water with our feet. Finally, we ended with a relaxing dolphin swim on the soft, delicate beach of Jamaica.
My ancestors first landed on the southern coast of the big island of Hawaii, at Ka Lae. The name Hawaii derived from the world Havaiki, the Polynesian name for a homeland believed they all originally came from and would return to after death. To survive while they waited for their first plantings to grow and mature, they hunted birds, fished, and gathered native foods.
Ancient Hawaii, an old civilization. This has shaped modern Hawaii and our lives. From its climate, politics, education, religion, art and architecture, technology, economics, and social live. The ancient Hawaiians are fascinating.
The first thing I heard was Virginia Beach vacation, and then in excitement I ran and got my stuff and started to pack. The part I was most excited about was that the hotel is a beachfront hotel room.I was so excited because I love the beach and I really wanted to go back to the beachfront hotel and stay there. I went there when I was in second grade. I have gotten to go there a few times since second grade, but I did not get to stay there overnight.
Hawai'i is a land full of diverse people and ideas, starting from the Polynesians who decided to cross the ocean to settle and form the traditions practiced today by the Hawaiians. Unlike many other states, the beliefs of Hawai'i have managed to stay alive. Its unique culture is what attracts tourists most. Many people see it as a vacation spot, full of fun attractions and say, “When I go to Hawai'i I'm going to get some Hawaiian tattoos, they look so cool!” or “I'm going to buy a hula skirt, they're really pretty!” But all those hula dances and tattoos are not just for show. People do not know that there is more to it than ink or hip swaying; behind every hula skirt and every tattoo there is a story. Hawai’i’s culture consists of the significance of its dances, tattoos, and traditions that give Hawaiians their unique lifestyle.
Hawaiian is unique among the fifty states, especially in regards to its native music form, which is still preformed, and captivates audiences even today. Hawaiian chanting, music, and dance are not only key parts of life on the island, but have also become cultural icons as well as profound symbols of nature and religion in Hawaii. Hawaii has a rich history, beginning with the early settlers from Polynesia who brought their traditions and religions to Hawaii. Over the years, the inhabitants took those traditions and adapted them to their new home, creating the definitive culture that, even with Western influences, still is a captivating force within the society.
It was a cool, June morning, I had my bags packed and ready to go, and just like that I was on the road to Niagara Falls! We started by getting up at five O'clock in the morning.I remember waking up to the smell of french toast, bacon, and eggs. We packed our bags in the truck, then hit the road!
The people and the culture make you appreciate the type of paradise tat you are in. The houses aren’t the best and the schools aren’t the biggest. But everyone seems to be happy with what they have. There seems to be a type of brotherhood that the Hawaiians have. They may not show it but you do receive that kind of vibe when you interact with them. I gathered the fact that Hawaiians, as a society, look after each other, irregardless if they know each other or not. With that attitude, you can learn to appreciate what you have.
There are things that you will see here that you just won’t find anywhere else. Nothing else matches the spirit and love the native Hawaiians and local residents have for the people that come to visit.
