The first time I visit Punta Cana located in Dominican Republic was one of the best experience I ever had. In august 10, 2014 my family and I decide to go to this country, wise choice from us to expend our vacations. From the moment that we arrive to the airport we appreciate the Caribbean style. The design is like a Guano house. Inside is clean and organize. The persons that work there are helpful and they smile for no reason, always trying to have fun and that we enjoy the visit. It was diverse cultures arriving at the same time, otherwise, the check in was fast. Next to that we took a taxi destine to the hotel. It was persons in bicycle all around the streets, working or just vising each other’s. The houses were simple and some of them poor. …show more content…
The people drees humble but they look so happy. The entrance to the hotel was simple, but gorgeous. The decoration was in white and blue. The furniture was large sofas and armchairs with tables in the centers with floral arrangements. It had polyester curtains hanging from the ceiling. The floor was the porcelain, when we look down we see us reflected. The reception was the first class with a fruit cocktail to refresh the hot temperature. After fill, all the papers we finally got the keys for the room which it was five starts, the beds and bathrooms were luxury, modern style, the color white predominated to make the room clear and sharp. They put chocolates, wine and apples plus water and sodas inside the refrigerate. The beds were perfectly decorated with swans made with towels. The bathroom had a Jacuzzi and a separate shower whit a mirror covering the entire celling. Immediately we finish organizing our stuffs we went to the beach to explore. The sand was thin and the water was transparent. We sit on the beach bar to get a drink and enjoy the view, it was people around offering excursions and activities as kayak, swing with sharks and dolphins, go to explore the city or the zoo. Later in the afternoon we went to the room took a shower and get ready to eat.
I actually can say it that was one of the most problematic decisions to take during the trip, because they had over sixteen restaurants from distinct cultures or types of food. At the end, we went to the buffet which had more than thirty recipes including deserts and fruits, tea and refreshers. The service was impeccable, always kind and educated. The tables were decorated as is established in the book of rules, three plates and cutlery. I eat sancocho and Moro rice with pork and plantains’, for dessert I had a banana cake with ice cream. We order Cuban coffee after dinner and even that if was …show more content…
perfect. Subsequently we went to the lobby to see the exposition of art that they had.
it was beautiful the pictures and rings all mixed representing the Latin American Cultures. When we done there, we took sit in the theater because the show was about to start. The show was super enthusiastic with dancers and singers. The dancers danced like the wind. They did some activities including the audience and off course I participated in the competition of dance which I won because I dance a lot and a love it. At the beginning, it was uncomfortable by the fact that was almost seventy people watching, but any ways I was trying to have an unforgivable moment so I focus on the music and I was surprised how fine I did it. These vacations were amazing. Sometimes we must take risk and do new things like this one, go to other country know the traditions, the cultures and how are the people from there. This first time has been repeated yearly from that date, we had a great trip one of the best in my live. It will stay all the experiences as a treasured memory and I will work very hard every year to be available to go to that especial
place.
I was born in Guatemala in a city called, called Guatemala City. Life in Guatemala is hard which is why my parents brought me into the United States when I was eight months old. Some of the things that makes life in Guatemala hard is the violence. However, Guatemala has plenty of hard working men, women, and children who usually get forced to begin working as soon as they are able to walk. However, unlike many other countries, Guatemala has a huge crime rate. I care about the innocent hard working people that live in Guatemala and receive letters, threatening to be killed if they do not pay a certain amount of money at a certain amount of time.
The typical Cuban cuisine and common food rituals have their origins mainly in Spanish dishes, like arroz con pollo (chicken and rice) and paella; pork is served in diverse forms, chicken, and rice, and seasoned with sofrito (a mix of spices).
Many Cubans in exile, such as my neighbor, Roca Beiro, a professional caterer whom I had the opportunity to interview, informed me that many Cubans have cut down on the starches they consume and that they try to follow a healthier diet. Due to the lack of time in their day to day life, many buy products, such as black beans, because preparing them from scratch is very time consuming. In addition, Cubans have added more salads to their diet, use less sauces, and prepare fewer potajes (stews). They have also adapted more American foods into their daily life since their children are exposed to them at school and through their acquaintance with endless chains of fast food restaurants in their communities. For example, breakfast in Cuba usually consists of café con leche and tostada (coffee with milk and Cuban toast).
I was born in the Dominican Republic, November 2, 1982. I lived and grew up in a countryside where everybody knew each other. My childhood years were full of wonderful experiences where I felt loved by my parents and my family. I went to school around 6 years old. I had to walk around 30 minutes to get there from my house. My father was a farmer who had to work long hours in order to sustain our big family. My mother was a housewife; she was in charge of taking care of us. I have five siblings, three boys and two girls. I remember that at that time we did not have many things in our house. We did not have electricity and also we did not have a service of water. I remembered that my father had to go to the river to get water for the necessities of the house. At that time my family was very poor, but my
As my father and I finally fit the statue of the little Virgin Mary in the back of the car, it was time to get on the road. I could already taste the guavas from my great grandfather’s ranch. Feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin. The smell of my aunt’s cooking. Hearing the excitement of my great grandmother’s voice. I wanted to be there already, be in the beautiful country of Mexico. My thoughts wandered as we left my house. How much welcome, love, and the sadness of leaving was going to happen. It was too soon to find out.

All in all, the cuisine of Cuba is an amazing mixture of food and dishes native to its beautiful country and the expansive influences from people all over the world leaving their touches as they came and went over the centuries.
Never being one of those kids that had many friends seemed like a challenge; I have always felt like I had all I needed. For me, it’s special, that the people who I consider my friends, know so much about me. This past summer, I traveled to the place that gave birth to me, the Dominican Republic, where I was put in an environment where I had no prior knowledge of the people who I was going to encounter doing the things that I was interested in doing, like community service and traveling to certain parts of the country that I had never visited before. Being able to bond with the individuals from my trip while working on mountainsides, digging ditches to help install Black Water Treatments that would help a local community, participating in beach cleanups that belonged to a national park, made me feel that I was growing and expanding my horizons on what I could make a reality.

There is many things that I like of my native country Ecuador. I will love to go back and stay there to live. One thing that I love the must is the weather from Ecuador obviously the city that I grow up that is callsGuayaquil.Guayaquil is a very hot city, is a place where you can go and have a lot of fun. I like it because you can always go out you don’t have to worry if it’s cold or if it going to snow nothings of that, of course there is a time that it is only rain but still people enjoy the rain even in the rain
“The beauty of the world lies in the diversity of its people.” (unknown) The United States of America is a country that has been described as a “melting pot.” Miami has many international communities that lives within a few miles of each other. The culture that I chose to experience was the Caribbean culture. I chose the Caribbean culture to experience because there is an enormous population of Caribbean people in Miami. and since I moved to Miami, I want to be familiar with this culture. On October 9, 2016, I went to the Miami Broward Carnival at the Fair Expo Center in Miami, Florida. The focus of the carnival is on the Trinidad and Tobago culture and showcases different Caribbean talent like dancing and singing. My goal was to experience in-depth about a culture that I am around everyday and interact with at times that I know little about.
The trip to Asia was a chance of a lifetime. It could not have been any more perfect. We worked hard and learned a lot. The memories and friends made are unforgettable. I only hope that I helped make someone else's trip just as wonderful.
My most memorable family vacation took place two years ago. We went to Corsica, a French island situated in the south of France right next to Italy. I remembered waking up early excited to visit this new land. Used to take long flights, I was surprised to arrive to the destination after a one-hour flight. Even though the flight was short for me, it was stressful for my mom, she has never felt secured in a plane, probably due to the fact that she is afraid of height. When finally arrived at the destination, the dry and warm weather was there to welcome us. We all felt relief, and knew that this was the beginning of the summer. Excited, we had a lot of activities planned for the few weeks, me and my father could not wait to dive in the clear
I was able to spend a lot of time with my family, our friends, and play all sorts of games. This experience made me start to like traveling. Every time I would get the chance to travel, I will take that chance. We were able to go to a theme park, eat many delicious foods, and play many video
Throughout someone’s life they will go to many places with their family, friends, another relatives. I have been on a few vacations that have made a lasting impact on my life. But one of the most memorable vacations I have experienced was with my cousins. I went to goa beach. Most of you probably don’t know about that beach but it is a very famous one in south India. I enjoyed myself to the fullest. The beach environment was enlightening. I would not have wanted to take this trip with anyone other than my cousins. We had a great time on the ocean sands and swimming in the ocean everyday made this vacation unforgettable.
