One day in the middle of the summer, this was the day i have been looking forward to all summer. It was thewday my family gets to go to Cedar Point . My mother has been saying “This is the time you will able to ride the Top Thrill Dragster.” We have been measuring how tall i have been for weeks to make sure i could ride the Top Thrill Dragster.I have been waiting all summer to be able to ride it and the day finally came that i was tall enough about two weeks ago.
The night before we went to Cedar Point we started to pack snacks and made some sandwiches too. Then we put them on the ice and put them outside and tried to go to bed. But when i got ready for bed all i could think of was that I could ride all the rides at Cedar point. That caused me to stay up later than usual. The next day as soon as i got in the car i fell asleep and was the whole ride down. Then i woke up to my family yelling that “we are here!!!!” At first i didn't feel so well but when i woke up fully i was felt way better. The nap was a nice way to get the car trip out of the way instead of being bored.

After we all put sunscreen on we started to head for the front gates of the park. As we got closer and closer i got more and more excited for the day ahead. After my dad gave everyone our tickets we went into the park. The first thing we did was to go up to the Top Thrill Dragster. But like always it was closed so my dad said “We will come back in a bit after we ride some
Wisconsin Dells was better than Six Flags because my family stayed longer. We were in Wisconsin Dells for four days, but we were only at Six Flags for two days. Because we were in the Dells longer, my family was able to create more memories. Six Flags may have had more attractions inside the park itself, but I felt rushed and did not enjoy my time there as much. The length of time my family spent in Wisconsin also gave us the ability to experience the numerous attractions found outside of the park.
We take them inside and then finally were on the road it only took 4 hours. Then we arrive at Sky Zone and we signed the Waivers and waited for my brothers. When they came Skyler,Riley,Domonic and I all agreed to a dodge ball against Elliot. Then about an hour and a half later I told Lori I was hungry so she bought us nachos then after that I played reality dodge ball. The last activity I did was Foam Zone. Then for late lunch early dinner we went to Red Robin.Dad had a burger that had ghost pepper sauce, jalepenos, and pepper jack chesse. Then Elliot and Skylier,Domonic Riley and I all talked on how we would run away to wherever. Then sadly very sadly we had to go home :{.On the way home we played 20 questions.Once during 20 questions Lori said she was a food I asked “are you a vegetable”she said “yes”I asked”are you green”she said “yes”then I said are you asparugus she
Have you ever looked off a gigantic cliff? Now imagine traveling 30 miles per hour on a bike with curvy roads with enormous cliffs on your side with no rails. This is exactly what I did with my family when we went to Colorado. From the hotel we drove to a bike tour place to take us to the summit of Pikes Peak. After we arrived at the building we saw pictures of how massive the cliffs were, but what terrified me was the fact they had no side rails. This observation was thrilling as well as terrifying. It was an odd mix of emotions, but I loved the adrenaline rush it gave me. My dad whispered to me, “ This will be absolutely horrifying”.
On the way to camp Kangaroobie we went to Mr Mcguane’s farm. The year 5 bus broke down so we came late. When we got there, we walked around this little river skipping rocks and getting stuck in the mud. When we arrived at camp, went to our cabins, and I was with, Emily, Felicia, Sarah, Grace and Klara, we packed our bag and went for a walk down to the beach! It was really fun because we went across rivers and walked through the sand dunes! When we got there, we jumped off and slid down the sand
As soon as they picked me up, we headed right to Hershey. On the way, we talked about the rides and what we were going to do. We were arguing about what was going to be our first ride that day. It took about half an hour, but we made
Have you ever been to Texas? I have been once. My trip to Texas was unbelievably awesome. I saw many of things on my way there. While we were there, I had loads of fun. Many things happened while we were there. Texas was the coolest place I have ever been.
Over sixty days have passed since I left with the others from my homeland on the Mayflower, sailing along the Atlantic passageway in search of new beginnings. The journey at sea was treacherous, but not deathly, though our morale was quite shaken from the storms. The ship’s main hull was breached, but thankfully the ship remained intact for the rest of the course with just a few temporary repairs. Originally, we were headed to dock in Virginia with the other settlers, but the gales and squalls of the sea have steered our path elsewhere north amidst the land. Just shortly after we landed shore, a team was dispatched to explore where they named the area Plymouth Rock, just west of Cape Cod Bay. And now, the others and I have stepped foot on a sandy beach in this part of the New World, ready to form a fresh start.
My youth pastor pulled out of our church parking lot at three am in the morning loaded down with a bus full of twenty four teenagers including me. We were off at last head to Colorado Spring Colorado, little did I know, our bus was going to fall apart this very day.
We first went to the Ramkota to check in and put our stuff in the room, and then we left to go to the dinosaur park. After climbing the steep set of stairs, up to the seven dinosaur sculptures. Kae Lynn took off running to the tallest dinosaur, screaming “The long-neck asaurus!”. My Mom then had us stand underneath the tallest dinosaur by its belly and also had us sit on the Triceratops, so that she could take pictures of the three of us. Then we went to Flags and Wheels, to play laser tag. When we got there we had to put on these light up vests that glowed two different colors, red and blue. All of the lights flickered off before the game started, making it completely dark except for the glow in the dark paint splattered on the walls. After playing a couple of games, we finally came out of the room, our eyes hurting from being in the dark for so long and our skin glistening with sweat, while our chests hurt from
Camp Texas is an experience that I would love to have the opportunity to attend. I live with my grandmother who has raised me since I was 2 years old. She supports me any way she can whether it be emotionally, financially, mentally, etc…. She has been my only base of support and without her I truly don’t know where I would be at today. Growing up I always had my 3 sisters to play with, talk to, and keep me company. The hard reality just hit me, that in a few months I will no longer have them to confide in daily and I will be losing my support system. It will be up to me to make the right choices and while I will be able to call them, nothing beats a nice, warm hug. I will be alone in this cold, hard world.
After we ate we went to go look at the rides they had we started at The Tony Hawk, The Tony Hawk was a roller coaster on a small track and while it was on the track it spun around! I tried to envision what it would be like to be on that ride since we didn’t ride it, it really did look like a fun ride though the next ride we went to go check out was the excalibur, that ride looked like an amazing fun time, it was kind of like a catapult ride, it launched upwards and came back around what made it even more interesting was that it spun around at the same time, I wish I would’ve been taller at the time by reason of I was to short to ride it although, I did get to watch my sisters summer and hanna be on it they had snot coming out of their noses when they got off, it was
I remember it like it was yesterday, my family took our first trip to Six Flags Great America. I was around seven years old and terrified by everything around me. The roller coasters were like brobdingnagian snakes that twisted throughout the entire park. My first rollercoaster changed my life forever. I was barely the required 48”, and my dad sat me down on American Eagle. Before the ride I was sobbing, yelling, and scared out of my mind. The lift hill had to be the longest moments of my life. We climbed up the 127’ slower than I thought possible, and then it happened. The car crested over the first hill, and the expression on my face couldn't have changed more. I went from a terrified and mortified child, to a boy who was on top of the world. The feeling of falling down the hill, then climbing up another and entering a helix and the some more
I was so excited. I could hardly breathe through the hour drive it took to get there. I was squished between my two ten-year-old best friends in the back seat of a white Saturn, but I didn't care. I was practicing over and over in my head what I was going to say to all the smart-alecky adults who would tell me I was too young to ride the water slides. I was simply going to reply, "Actually I'm ten, going on eleven."
Once we got to their house we got out and took my bags inside, and went outside to ride horses. The next morning we got up and got ready to go water skiing. We got our stuff together and put it in the truck to leave. On the way to the lake my uncle Ed asked me “if i was ready, because it was my first time, for the best time of my life.” I said “ YES!
We decided to come here for the day while the boys (all of our boyfriends) went to a car show. Finally, after almost four hours of waiting we were at the gate and ready to board the roller coaster. We were so
